The head makes me think a mix... shepherd maybe?
With that coloring and coat texture, I'd say Australian Cattle Dog mixed with Border Collie ...but I almost see a bit of retriever in there too. I think it's the eyes in the second pic.
I think probably BC/ACD aswell, that colour doesn't really come from anything else.

Id say german shepherd something.. part of his just makes me think of kenya! Shepherd something...I don't really see much border in him, but who knows?
I see border in his face some. but not much. i sorta think husky/gsd
I think wolf X is a high possibility...his face/expression is very similar to the wolfX that's laying at my feet right now. Huskies can look quite wolfy. Don't huskies have a curled tail, though? Or is that "optional"? And no, huskys do not have curly tails

Only thing that comes to my mind is american bulldog, but they dont have docked tails.
Alapaha Blue Blooded Bull dog? They may have docked the tail because the mom has a docked tail
I agree possible PB boxer or mixed with american bulldog
a lot of bulldogs get docked because they damage their tails from wagging it so hard and hitting things. if it doesn't heal up or due to constant recurrent injury they will dock it (this happens w/ other breeds too, a very good reason to ask before you attack someone for docking).

Cockers tails are ussually docked. Is it curved? I can't tell that well.
Looks very much like an old-fashioned Cocker Spaniel to me. Could she be a pure, but not very well
bred, Cocker with an undocked tail?
The only thing that makes me think cocker spaniel is how long the ears are... but mixing a golden to any small breed can also give long ears.
But have seen full blood cocker spaniels probably weight more than 45lbs
