Clearing Website Data for the new DrexelOne Please note: These guides do not instruct you to clear your browsing history as it has not been necessary to do so for most users to access the new DrexelOne portal. However, if you follow the steps for your browser and are still unable to access DrexelOne, please try clearing your browsing history as well. In some cases you may have both. Click on one of them. Both menus should contain the item ‘Internet options’. Click ‘Internet options’. 2 3 On the General tab of the new window, click the ‘Delete’ button in the ‘Browsing History’ section. Make sure that ‘Temporary Internet Files’, ‘Cookies’, and ‘History’ are the options that are checked. Click ‘Delete’. Depending on how often you’ve done this in the past, this operation could take anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes. Once completed, make sure you close Internet Explorer completely before trying to access DrexelOne again. Firefox for PC At the top left of your browser, you should see either the ‘Tools’ menu, or the orange ‘Firefox’ button. Click the one that you see on your browser. If you’re using the ‘Tools’ menu, click ‘Clear Recent History’. If you’re using the orange ‘Firefox’ button, hover your mouse over ‘History’, and then click ‘Clear Recent History’. 4 5 Change ‘Time range to clear’ to ‘Everything’. Click the arrow to the left of ‘Details’ and make sure ‘Cookies’, ‘Cache’,‘Offline Website Data’, and ‘Site Preferences’ are checked and then click Clear Now. Depending on how often you’ve done this in the past, this operation could take anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes. Once completed, make sure you close Firefox completely before trying to access DrexelOne again. Chrome for PC At the top right of your browser, click the icon with the stacked, horizontal lines. Click ‘Settings’. On the left, click ‘History’ and then click the button that says ‘Clear browsing data’. 6 7 Change ‘Obliterate the following items from’ to ‘the beginning of time’. Make sure that ‘Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data’, ‘Empty the cache’, and ‘Clear saved Autofill form data’ are checked. Click ‘Clear browsing data’. Depending on how often you’ve done this in the past, this operation could take anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes. Once completed, make sure you close Chrome completely before trying to access DrexelOne again. 8 Safari for Mac At the top left of your screen, click on the ‘Safari’ menu, and then click ‘Reset Safari’. Make sure ‘Remove all webpage preview images’, ‘Reset all location warnings’, ‘Remove all website data’, and ‘Close all Safari windows’ are checked. Click ‘Reset’. Depending on how often you’ve done this in the past, this operation could take anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes. Once completed, Safari should restart automatically. 9 Firefox for Mac At the top left of your screen, click on the ‘Tools’ menu, and then click ‘Clear Recent History’. Change ‘Time range to clear’ to ‘Everything’ and make sure ‘Cookies’, ‘Cache’, ‘Offline Website Data’ and ‘Site Preferences’ are checked. Click ‘Clear Now’.
