Feature Business of the Month:
Looking for a relaxing and friendly atmosphere to take a load off and enjoy a delicious craft beer? Look no further than the CHURCH-‐KEY PUB & GRINDHOUSE
Located at 26 Bridge Street West in Campbellford, the Pub provides the perfect venue for a drink with friends, an after work pint or weekend entertainment. Purchased as the Stinking Rose Pub in 2008 by John Graham, the establishment has since become more than just a place for great beer… opening at 7:00 am and serving Grindhouse coffee, you can enjoy a cappuccino to start your day, or end the night off with a delicious blend of coffee and your favourite liqueur. On Wednesday to Saturday nights, enjoy live entertainment by great musicians such as Ken Tizzard, Al Lerman and Mike Wallace. Another important part of the pub? The beer! John Graham started the Church-‐key Brewery in the County of Northumberland in 1999 after learning the craft at Amsterdam Brewery in Toronto. He has perfected the everyday brews such as Northumberland Cream Ale, and the West Coast Pale Ale while keeping the palate entertained with seasonal brews such as Holy Cow – a chocolate milk stout made with local Blommers chocolate -‐ and I am Gruett – a beer made with empire cider that offers an air of bruised apple. When asked, John didn’t hesitate to say that the people are his favourite part of owning the pub. “ I like that we offer a place for people to come on any day of the year where they feel at home”.
Stop by the Pub and try a pint or two; you’ll be glad you did!
