SERVICES HOGS ‘N’ HOT RODS -2013 What do you get when you have a historic Main Street and you add hundreds of motorcycles, classic and antique cars, live music, and great food? The annual Hogs ‘N’ Hot Rods celebration! Collinsville Downtown, Inc. will host this annual fun filled, family event on June 8, 2013. Hogs ‘N’ Hot Rods was originally begun by GreyBeards Bar and Grill owner Mike Lames. He started the celebration a few years ago as “Bikes, Blues and Brews”. Collinsville’s Main Street will close for the day to accommodate the vast number of visitors who help double the town’s population for the day. Visitors will be treated to smokin’ hot rods, rockin’ music and tricked out motorcycles. People from all over Oklahoma and as far away as Texas and Arkansas will be on hand to show off their cars and motorcycles which will be strategically parked along Main Street in front of historic buildings, creating a realistic, old time, small-town feel. There will be a variety of commercial vendors, arts & crafts vendors as well as food vendors. There will be something for everybody. These will be set up down the middle of Main Street. ANTIQUES BOUTIQUES GOOD EATS There will be everything from gourmet packaged food items, dolls, artwork, jewelry and of course lots of food. A DJ will be located at the 10th Street intersection to play your favorite tunes from the ‘50’s, ‘60’s, and ‘70’s, as well as some of the current top tunes. Admission is free to this fun-filled family event. The kids are not left out. Inflatables will be available for the kids to play on. At 4:30 p.m. the awards ceremony will begin.
