takes your annual fuel costs and
spreads them out based on your
previous annual usage by dividing
them into 12 equal parts. At the
end of each budget season we’ll
refund all account credits and bill
any balances to you. You can even

your comfort protection plan costs
with your budget payment plan.

This quick and
easy Potato Salad
recipe is the perfect
addition to any
summertime BBQ
or picnic.
Ingredients
1 ½ pounds small red potatoes,
boiled and quartered
Directions
Toss together all ingredients
and serve.
2/3 cup plain yogurt
1/3 cup sour cream
1 cup chopped celery
½ cup sliced kalamata olives
¼ cup chopped scallions
¼ cup chopped parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper

The Woodfin Home Energy Assessment provides a more in-depth
look at the potential energy savings in your home. We’ll begin with
a blower door test. This test pinpoints air leakage problem spots.
We’ll then use thermal imaging cameras to identify areas of costly
infiltration. Once those two tests are done, we’ll inspect your heating
and air conditioning equipment, insulation levels, air sealing, windows
and doors, appliances and lighting. Based on all findings, we’ll
generate an official grade rating for your home, which will identify
any areas where energy-efficiency, comfort, health and safety
improvements can be made.

Meet One
of Our Best
It comes as no
surprise that
Travis Riddle was
picked for this
month’s Employee
Spotlight!
He started out as
an HVAC Service
Apprentice with
Gill Oil in October 1999, and stayed
on as a technician with the service
department when the company merged
with Woodfin in 2003. In late 2007, Travis
earned a promotion to manage the
electrical department; but he didn’t stop
there. Travis continued to demonstrate
dedication and true skill and that’s why,
in January 2012, he was named Sales
Manager of all Woodfin’s home services.
Throughout his journey with the
company, Travis says he has always
appreciated the opportunities for growth,
adding that, “working at Woodfin has
been both challenging and rewarding,
and the opportunity to grow and excel
is constantly given to employees.” At
Woodfin, success doesn’t only apply to
employees, Travis went on to add. “We put
the customers first. We believe that if we
take care of our customers, our customers
will take care of us.”
Throughout the years, the company
has grown and developed but
maintained the same core belief.
“Woodfin has always strived to provide
all the services a home needs in one
place,” Travis explained. That’s what truly
makes Woodfin stand out, and Woodfin
is continuing to find even more ways to
provide service for all our customers.
Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia,
Travis still lives there with his wife – and high
school sweetheart – Amy, and their two
daughters, Victoria, 14, and Allison, 8. Travis
enjoys spending his free time with his family.
He and Victoria bond over hunting trips,
and Allison is getting ready to be their “next
little hunter.” Travis also coaches both of the
girls’ softball teams, and Victoria even assists
her dad with coaching Allison’s team. Travis
thanks his wife for his long and successful
journey with Woodfin so far, “Between all the
late nights worked during the hot summers
and cold winters, I thank Amy more than
anything. I couldn’t have done all this
without her constant love and support.”

Marilyn Leahy has been a dedicated Woodfin customer for 3 years, and she counts on Woodfin for her electrical,
plumbing and heating needs. It all started back in 2010 when the so-called “Snowmageddon” hit and left homes from Virginia
to Pennsylvania without power.
For Marilyn, being without power was especially tough – with an elderly mother who had recently suffered from a stroke,
Marilyn couldn’t take any chances. After seven days without power, Marilyn called Woodfin to install a generator in her
mother’s home and one in her own house next door.
“Woodfin was so helpful; I wanted to stay with them for all my home comfort needs.” Marilyn loved the

that’s when Kevin showed up to do the job. “He went through my home from top to bottom,” Marilyn raved about the thorough
