Ryan Colucci
Writer – Director - Producer
Ryan is an alumnus of the prestigious Peter
Stark Producing MFA Program at USC. He
received his BA in Film Studies and Production
from Hofstra University, graduating Suma Cum
Laude. Before that he pursued a degree in
Accounting from Villanova University and spent a
year at Cambridge University in England studying
Economics and Terrorism. He is a member of the
Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honor Society
as well as the Gamma Phi Business Honor
Society.
Synopsis
Structured around the riddle of the sphinx, the short film 4.2.3. depicts the relationship between
neuroscientist Michael and mathematician Eva over four years. While researching a cure for sleep,
Michael not only faces mounting pressure from his colleagues, but also the crumbling mental state of
Eva, the love of his life. She suffers from bi-polar disorder, which takes its toll on both of them as the
years progress. He is counseled by Kolos, a former professor, to concentrate on his research. A
conflicted Michael must make a choice before Eva destroys herself.

He has over ten years of experience in the film
industry, having worked in development for
Artisan/Lion’s Gate (Blair Witch Project, The
Punisher) and Disney (Pirates of the Caribbean,
Freaky Friday). He also worked at Snoot
Entertainment, where he was a producer on the
CG-animated feature Battle for Terra 3D, which
premiered at the 2007 Toronto Film Festival and
was released through Lionsgate nationwide in
May of 2009.
Ryan Colucci, along with acclaimed director Mike
Newell, is teaming up with Warner Brothers
Pictures to produce Terry Brooks’ Shannara
fantasy series (fifteen books in total). Terry is the
fourth best-selling fantasy author of all time,
behind only JR Tolkien, JK Rawlings and CS
Lewis. Along with Mike the Pike Productions, he
is also producing George R.R. Martin's Hugo
Award Winning The Skin Trade, a horror novella
by the acclaimed NY Times #1 best-selling author
from an anthology of the same name, also
featuring stories by Stephen King and Dan
Simmons.
Ryan started Spoke Lane Entertainment to
produce a variety of genre fare for the publishing
and film worlds. The first project out of his
banner is the graphic novel Harbor Moon.
Financed independently and produced by Spoke
Lane, the book debuted to rave reviews in July of
2010 through Shuster Award-winning publisher
Arcana Studio. His follow-up graphic novels,
R.E.M., Bulderlyns and Chasing Rabbits are
currently in production and look to make their
debut in 2011 and 2012 as part of a joint venture
with Mike the Pike Productions.
Cameron Richardson

Born in Baton Rough, Louisiana, raised in New Jersey,
Cameron moved to New York to pursue a modeling
career. It wasn't long before her agents recommended
she try acting. Cameron broke into the business with her
work on the USA original series Cover Me: Based on the
True Life of an FBI Family in 2000. She landed the part
on her very first audition.
In 2007 she starred opposite Jason Lee and Jane Lynch
in 20th Century Fox's hit Alvin and the Chipmunks. She
followed that up playing a mentally challenged character
in the HBO series 12 Miles of Bad Road, opposite Lily
Tomlin. Recently, Cameron guest starred on the Fox
television show House. She also guest starred on the
HBO television show Entourage in the episode "Strange
Days”. In 2009 she was a series regular on Harper’s
Island, a murder mystery television series.

Brian D. Johnson was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and
grew up in Lexington, Kentucky. He attended the
University of Kentucky and worked for Toyota Motor
Manufacturing before moving to Los Angeles to pursue
his lifelong dream of acting. Since Brian's arrival, he has
worked consistently in television, film, and theatre. He has
appeared on television shows such as CSI, Entourage,
The Unit, 24, Cold Case, House, Charmed, and Lincoln
Heights. Brian received rave reviews for his portrayal of a
deep-sea diver in the short film Under Pressure, produced
by Ryan Colucci as his thesis at USC’s Peter Stark
Producing Program. Brian’s upcoming roles include a key
figure in Paramount Insurgent’s horror film The Devil
Inside, directed by William Brent Bell.
Mike Genovese has enjoyed an acting career that
stretches back decades and includes feature film hits such
as Point Break, Risky Business, Thief, as well as roles on
television series like ER, NYPD Blue, Babylon 5, Quantum
Leap, The Practice, JAG, The Unit, Arli$$, Beverly Hills
90210, LA Law, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Family
Matters, Reasonable Doubts, The Flash, Falcon Crest, TJ
Hooker and Dukes of Hazzard. Throughout the years,
Mike has worked with such luminaries as Michael Mann,
David Mamet and Kathryn Bigelow.

Ken Locsmandi
Producer
Ken Locsmandi is an award winning producer and the
owner, founder and President of Filmworks/FX, Inc., a fullservice film post production company. Created in 2001 from
a solid foundation in feature visual effects, Filmworks/FX,
Inc. is home to a complete post production pipeline that
includes: Visual Effects (including Supervision), Digital
Intermediate, Telecine, Editorial, Design, Animation and Film
Scanning.
Filmworks/FX, Inc. routinely works with major commercial
and motion picture companies such as Sony Pictures, Fox,
Walden Media, Mandate Pictures, and Lionsgate. The
visual effects team has provided high-end work on such
films as You Don’t Mess With the Zohan, Juno, Rescue
Dawn, The Terminal, Apocalypto, City of Ember,
Marmaduke, Knight and Day and Date Night.
As an artist, Ken created visual effects on The Matrix, The
Cell, and Fight Club as well as many other Hollywood
blockbusters. In 2001 he was awarded the Omni for Best
Visual Effects on Television for the show JAG. He also coauthored After Effects@Work, a respected book on visual
effects techniques.
Recently, Ken co-executive-produced the 2010 feature film,
Pete Smalls is Dead, starring Peter Dinklage, Mark Boone
Junior, Tim Roth and Steve Buscemi. It was the opening
film at Slamdance 2011. As a producer, he took home the
Best of Show Award at the 2008 Science Fiction Short Film
Festival for Forecast.
Ken is also a partner of Stranger Comics. The first comic
released by Stranger, The Untamed, was purchased by
Lloyd Levin, Producer of films such as Hell Boy and Boogie
Nights. Ken is set to be the Visual Effects Supervisor on
the project.
Born and raised in Merrick, NY, Jim graduated from Loyola
College in Baltimore, MD with honors, earning a BA in
Advertising with a Business minor. While there, Jim
competed on the #1 nationally ranked Loyola Greyhounds
Men’s Lacrosse Team, going to a Final Four his freshman
year. After graduation, he relocated to Manhattan and began
his acting career doing commercials and independent films.
In November 2004, Jim took his career to the next level and
moved to Los Angeles to focus his entertainment career.
After numerous guest starring roles on television shows such
as CSI:NY, Heroes, Jericho, Law and Order:Criminal Intent
and The Unit, Jim filmed the lead role in LionsGate’s horror
film Lake Dead and followed that up as the lead in a
currently untitled Dean Zanuck Production. Jim also had a
supporting role in the star-studded CG-animated feature film
Terra. Recently he was a guest star on Modern Family,
Bones, Rules of Engagement and Man Up.
Luiza Ricupero

Luiza Ricupero, an Italian citizen, born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and raised in Quito, Ecuador, is a multilingual producer who graduated Suma Cum Laude from Emerson College, Boston.
Ricupero’s first feature film is the gripping bilingual thriller Hacia La Oscuridad, directed by award
winning director Antonio Negret and starring Emmy and Golden Globe award winning actress America
Ferrera. Hacia La Oscuridad, aka Towards Darkness, participated in competition at the 2007 Tribeca
International Film Festival and was picked up for distribution by Peace Arch Entertainment.
Before embarking on her own, Ricupero served as Director of Production and Acquisitions at Myriad
Pictures. There, she was responsible for overseeing several award winning films including Last Stop
174 (written by Braulio Mantovanni – writer of City of God-and directed by Bruno Barreto) which was
the official 2008 Brazilian entry for the Oscars, Divided (starring Diane Kruger and Thomas
Kretschmann), The Cup (starring Ray Winstone) and The Other Side (starring Katie Holmes, Woody
Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, and Jason Lee). Ricupero was also responsible for bringing to Myriad
Pictures the upcoming film The Electric Slide (starring Ewan McGregor and British sensation Carrey
Mulligan) which she will co-produce. Ricupero has also produced a variety of striking projects,
including the documentaries NIDO DE SUEСÑS and Help Wanted, the short films Importance and
Blowing Off, and the television awards show The Evvy Awards.
Ricupero moved to Los Angeles in January of 2004, where she worked at industry leader Creative
Artists Agency (CAA). Whilst there, she worked within the independent film division on projects such
as the Nicolas Cage starrer Lord of War and the Antonio Banderas directed film Summer Rain.

The team at Filmworks/FX also has experience designing
creatures, cartoon characters and title sequences.
TELECINE
Filmworks/FX also provides standard definition Telecine
on an Ursa Diamond with a Da Vinci Renaissance color
correction system. Output options include Digibeta,
DVCam, MiniDV, and optional digitization to
uncompressed Quicktimes and DVD’s. Sound sync is
available for digital sound files. Our experienced colorists
achieve a consistent desired look and turn dailies around
quickly.
EDITORIAL
Both Final Cut Pro and Avid workstations are available,
with an editor on staff to help assist as well as edit
projects.
FILM SCANNING
Film scanning is provided on 35mm and 16mm film using
an Imagica XE. Scanning can be done at 2K and 4K
resolutions to DPX files with embedded meta data.
Ultrasonic cleaning is performed beforehand.

Nathan Matthew David
Composer
Nathan Matthew David has scored over a dozen feature films including the award-winning films
The Philosopher Kings, The Lost Coast, and Hijos de la Guerra (Children of the War). His films
have premiered at film festivals around the world, such as the Rome Film Festival, South by
Southwest, the AFI/Discovery Channel SilverDocs Festival in DC, The Raindance Film Festival in
London, and the Bahamas International Film Festival--as well as many others. In 2009, he took
home the award for 'Best Score' from the Action on Film International Film Festival for his work on
the film Purge. Recent projects have included the feature narratives Children of God, The Afterlife
and First Generation. In addition to film work, his music can be heard on television shows and
trailers on networks such as Fox, NBC, MTV and VH1.
He holds a degree from the University of Texas and additionally has studied composition,
counterpoint and orchestration privately with Dr. Ken Walicki.
He currently resides in Los Angeles and enjoys studying Arabic music and playing the oud. In his
free time, he is attempting to become the world's greatest soccer player.
