When the skin ages, changes in pigmentation, sagging,
and wrinkling can be seen. This is mostly due to photoageing, along with other factors such as inflammation,
genetics (chronological ageing) and lifestyle (smoking,
drinking, stress etc).
There are many different ways to treat
ageing, from expensive and invasive
surgical procedures to less invasive
cosmetic treatments. When formulating
a cosmetic anti-ageing product, it is
important to firstly identify the age category
for which the product will be marketed as
skin at 25+ (first signs of ageing) has very
different needs to skin at 35+ (fine lines),
45+ (menopausal skin) and 55+ (mature
skin). This is due to differing collagen

whether the skin is greasy or dry and so on;

(INCI: Isopentyldiol, Trifolium Pratense (Clover)
Flower Extract). Extracted from Red Clover
Extract and titrated in Biochanin A to purify
and rebalance skin. The enlargement of
pores is caused by Corneocytes retaining
their nucleus. This leads to abnormal
desquamation and accumulation of cell debris,
which cause pores to clog. As a result skin
loses tonicity and firmness. These effects
are further worsened by sun, tobacco, food,

Used alone, Co-Q10 has a poor solubility in water
and oils and therefore a very low bioavailability. It may

(INCI: Aqua, Hydrolysed Collagen) has been
developed with complete respect for the
environment. It is an aqueous solution of 0.6% pure
Hydrolysed Collagen extracted from fresh fish skin
by-products coming from fishes (cod, haddock,
plaice) of the Atlantic Ocean. Once processed and
purified, the product comprises of Polypeptides
with a molecular weight between 2,000 and 20,000
Daltons. COLLAGENNA H is very rich in essential
amino acids such as Proline, Hydroxyproline,
Glycine and Alanine. These amino acids are a

MultiSal™ Retinol

The molecule acts by inducing glycosaminoglycan

(INCI: Aqua, Glycerin, Vitis Vinifera Seed Extract)
is a water-soluble concentrated liquid extract
of Grape Seeds which contains a guaranteed
minimum content of 0.4% Procyanidins (also
known as Proanthocyanidins, PACs, or OPCs).
The product uses food-grade preservatives and
its formulation is optimised for light stability in
finished formulations. Procyanidins are found in
French grape seeds and are molecules that are
distinct from flavonoids. They are derivatives of
Catechin and Epicatechin and are in the form
of Procyanidolic oligomers (dimers, trimers).
Procyanidins have a significant antioxidant
activity (greater than that of Vitamins E, C, or
beta-Carotene) which means that they are more
effective in fighting free radicals. Procyanidins
also protect Collagen and Elastin from
degradation.
ENNACOMPLEX 231
(INCI: Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Equisetum Arvense
Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Glycyrrhiza
Glabra Root Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana Leaf
Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract) is a botanical
complex intended to formulate eye-contour
preparations. It tones, nourishes, soothes and
refreshes the contour area of the eye, fights dark
circles and puffiness and also has restructuring,
protective and anti-ageing properties.
ENNACOMPLEX 231 is a water soluble blend
of Ginseng root, Licorice root, Witch Hazel leaf,
Horsetail herb, and Ginkgo Biloba leaf extracts.

(INCI: Ethylbisiminomethylguaiacol Manganese
Chloride). The molecule of eternal youth! EUK-134™
is a highly purified molecule that mimics Superoxide

ingredient with emulsifying properties confered
by the presence of Sunflower Phospholipids. It
thickens within a wide pH range and emulsifies all
types of oil phases. Gel-creams can be formulated

viscosity adjuster, stabiliser and emulsifier for gelcream formulations.
(INCI: Pleutotus Ostreatus Extract, Maltodextrin,
Pollen Extract) is a standardised active ingredient
manufactured using a non-solvent process.This
gives a perfect synergy between a Mushroom
extract (rich in film-forming polysaccharides) and
a unique extract from Lolium Perenne Flower (rich
in essential amino acids and other beneficial cofactors). It is particularly efficient in treating skin
that has been exposed to an acute stress linked
to sun exposure. Its effective film forming activity
helps to prevent further dehydration by water loss.
In addition, inflammatory mediators are modulated
and the skin is soothed and re-energised.

conditions: Green Tea, King of Asia, together with
Chrysanthellis, Queen of African Savannah. The
combination of these two plant extracts offers a
powerful free radical scavenging synergetic effect
which protects and repairs UV damaged skin and is
an effective tool to fight Rosacea.
Lecigel™
(INCI: Sodium Acrylates Copolymer (and) Lecithin) is a
gelling agent with emulsifying and cooling properties
(ice-cube-like sensation - pleasant and safe alternative to
Menthol and Alcohol). It allows the increase in the stability
of formulas. Suitable for both cold and hot processes,
it also helps to adjust the viscosity at the end of the
formulation process. Easy to use and stable to pH 12, it is
compatible with most emulsifiers and is stable over a wide
range of pH. Especially adapted for the formulation of gelcreams, it provides the typical ‘Phospholipid touch’ with a
cool, soft and non-greasy skin feel.
MiniporylTM
(INCI: Isopentyldiol, Trifolium Pratense (Clover) Flower
Extract). Extracted from Red Clover Extract and titrated
in Biochanin A to purify and rebalance skin. The
enlargement of pores is caused by Corneocytes retaining
their nucleus. This leads to abnormal desquamation
and accumulation of cell debris, which cause pores to
clog. As a result skin loses tonicity and firmness. These
effects are further worsened by sun, tobacco, food,
bad cleansing etc. MiniporylTM improves Keratinocyte
differentiation to obtain nucleus-free Corneocytes as well
as inhibiting 5α-reductase activity to decrease sebum
production. Overall the size and appearance of pores is
reduced for flawless skin!

PachaLucuma
(INCI: Pouteria Lucuma Fruit Extract). According to
chroniclers and historians, lúcuma have been use for
thousands of years. Representations of the fruit of the
Lúcumo tree in huacos (pottery) and textiles have been
found in some tombs of pre-Inca cultures. Lúcuma is
frequently marketed as a “superfood”, due to its high
levels of carotene, vitamin B3, and other B vitamins. As
a result of its agricultural and cultural importance the
Peruvian Governmenthas declared Lucuma as one of its
“flagship products”. Cosmetic Properties: Anti-wrinkle.
PANGENINE® LOLIUM
(INCI: Maltodextrin, Pollen Extract) is derived from the
solvent-free extraction of Lolium Perenne, harvested

(INCI: Hyaluronic Acid) is a fast-track moisturiser

more efficiently than classic forms of Hyaluronans. This
stimulates the proliferation and regeneration of Fibroblasts,

Riboxyl™
(INCI: Ribose) is a fundamental building block
of the ATP molecule which is the most important
source of cell energy. To function efficiently, the
cell must keep its ATP content at a maximum
level. Riboxyl™ is natural D-Ribose, a Pentose
that occurs in all living cells. Generating de novo
ATP, it energises and oxygenises skin, reduces

Thalassenna
(INCI: Plankton Extract, Glycerin) is an extract of
Thalassiosira pseudonana, a marine diatome
(micro-seaweed) which has the unique property
of being able to concentrate Selenium from the
sea during its growth which are stored in the
form of Selenoproteins. Selenium is a trace
element with strong anti-radical activity, and is
therefore a very effective skin protective and
UV induced anti-ageing ingredient. Selenium
increases the activity of Keratinocytes and

of free radicals involved in the skin photo-ageing

(INCI: Triticum Vulgare Gluten) is a complex of
vegetal proteins extracted from Wheat, which
impart a tensing effect together with moisturising,
