management team of over 40 dedicated professionals,
every project benefits from a wealth of experience in planning and
a nationwide installation service and expertise in delivering direct
to site from our 600,000 sq.ft. facility.
All this, combined with iView:
our extranet system that allows you to
track and manage your orders, to download
product information and review your order
history (all instantly) can make a huge
difference to the smooth running of your
projects. This section details these and many
more areas where we can offer additional
support and services for your next project.
We know that you require kitchens that
provide value for money. You need your
kitchen to be well planned, well designed
and well installed. Your Moores Business
Development Manager, working with
you from initial discussion through to site
completion and beyond, is well versed in
matching the most suitable products to the
most likely usage conditions. A typical project
will include the following steps:
1. An initial consultation with your Moores
Business Development Manager will ensure
that we establish your requirements.
Through close consultation at the early
stages of your site programme, we can
establish all variables that need to be taken
into account and can ascertain the best
route for you.
2. Together with your Business Development
Manager, you decide on an initial
specification and costing. We’ll run through
the finishes, worktops, handles, accessories
and appliances, as well as providing samples
to help you to make a decision.

3. A detailed kitchen design is drawn up
using our state of the art design package.
Our kitchen designers work to appliance
regulations in order to ensure compliance
on ventilation for built-in appliances and
ducting systems.
4. Once we’ve provided you with a detailed
costing, we’ll sort out all other arrangements
such as product ordering and delivery
arrangements. Costings are comprehensive
so that you don’t experience any
nasty surprises.
5. Product training takes place once the
products have been selected. Your Business
Development Manager will arrange product
samples for the site and will carry out
product training.
6. Under the care of your dedicated Project
Manager, delivery and installation takes
place seamlessly. With Moores you’ll
be dealing with a one-stop-shop – we’ll
work with you throughout the project,
culminating in a delivery of product at a
time suitable for you. Our experienced
installation team appreciates that your
kitchen needs to be completed to the
highest standard.
7. Your Business Development
Manager will schedule review meetings to
discuss product and service performance
and to keep you updated on the latest
trends and market updates as well as
new product introductions.

Moores have challenging environmental
objectives and targets, which are monitored
and measured regularly. We work on
improving our energy and water
consumption, to reduce waste to landfill,
to measure recycled materials and to
reduce our fuel usage. Our products are
made in the UK and our top main suppliers
are based within a 100 mile radius of our
plant in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

Moores have been accredited with BS EN
ISO 14001:2004. This system has set the
standard for environmental management
across the globe and it ensures that we at
Moores are all working to the same high
standards.
We are proud members of Club Green
and our membership spans over 17 years.
Club Green annually audits our company,
checking that we have robust environmental
management systems in place.
Moores are members of FISP (the Furniture
Industry Sustainability Programme). As
members of the FISP steering committee,
we have played an important part in
developing this scheme which focuses
on minimising our consumption of materials
and natural resources.

from the forest right through to their homes.
The FSC logo is fast becoming a symbol of
trust and integrity and the majority of our
products are now FSC labelled.
As a company too we feel very strongly
about recycling and have many recycling
programmes set up. For example, we recycle
chipboard, cardboard, metal, plastic, paper,
light bulbs and much more. We also try to
embed recycling in all parts of our lives rather
than just at work.
Although we have been monitoring our
carbon emissions for years, we have now
launched a project in order to identify the
company’s carbon footprint from the start of
a product life right through to disposal.
We have been recognised for our hard work
and had the honour of receiving several
sustainability awards. We received the
Constructing Excellence Legacy Award for
sustainability for the Yorkshire and Humber
region. We also received the Masco
Innovation Award for implementing FSC
across our business.
Our plan for the future is to continue setting
