It cuts webs from six inches to 46 inches at up to 40 pieces per minute. The Web Pro has two pairs of 14inch saw blades. With each pair mounted at a 90-degree complement to each other, it can cut both ends of a web simultaneously, increasing production and saving time. 2 The X4 Linear Saw, built on the success of the Alpine Linear Saw (ALS), adds the ability to cut one, two, three or four boards at the same time. Lumber passes through the X4 lengthwise - just like the ALS - but the X4’s Autoloader and faster conveyor speeds result in cutting that’s up to four times faster. The operator follows onscreen prompts indicating the number of boards to load. Boards are loaded, clamped, fed through the saw, cut and marked. Waste material is fed to the back of the saw and small parts are delivered to the front. Servo drives are highly advanced and they make the X4 more accurate, safer and productive than traditional component saws. Setups are done on the fly in a fraction of a second and cuts are precise to a sixteenth of an inch! PF-90 Cutting System with AutoMark combines the fast, accurate cutting of the PF-90 up-cut saw with a inkjet printer in a powerful system that effortlessly handles two of the most critical and difficult processes of wall panel manufacturing plate cutting and panel layout. The AutoMark accurately marks stud, cripple and jack locations, job and panel number, subcomponent and window/door locations and sheeting locations on both top and bottom plates simultaneously at 1,000 linear feet per hour!
