Greetings Winston-Salem Shag Club!
SHAGLIGHT Issue 4 April 2015 Greetings Winston-Salem Shag Club! Hey gang, Spring is officially here!!! Yay for longer, warmer days and upcoming SOS. In just a few short weeks many of us will be heading to North Myrtle Beach for Spring Safari – SOS. Our club will have a party at Fat Harold’s on Thursday, April 23, from noon to 3:00 pm. Please bring a snack to share and dance the afternoon away. On Saturday, April 25, come to Main Street and see our club’s entry in the SOS parade. We are excited about 2015 and the plans we have worked out so far. Our first big event will be our Oldies Party on Saturday, June 27. We will be at the Old Clemmons Gym again and ready for an awesome party. Mark your calendars and plan to join us. Our club member Gene Hicks has provided this great way for you to know who your officers are: It’s not too late to help with our club’s entry in the SOS parade this month. See Pam Gaither, Linda Boles, Nancy Weavil or Wrenna Barney and let them know you want to help. We meet every Tuesday night from 7:00-8:00pm in the lounge at the Quality Inn & Suites. This is a great way to meet more club members and support your shag club while having a great time. Help us keep our Friday night dancing going – come out and support your club. We had great turnouts in February despite all the cold temps. Wrenna & I look forward to seeing you on the dance floor. Regards from the Prez! Andy Barney WSSC is a proud member of: Thank you Gene. Gene also provided picutres from our St. Patrick’s Day party. www.shaglight.com 1 Business News The Winston-Salem Shag Club was formed December 1990 as a non-profit corporation and is a member of the Association of the Carolina Shag Clubs.
