CFSC Newsletter President`s letter
Welcome to Summer 2015!
I would like to thank everyone who came out and joined us for the June Shag Club meeting! Sam and Lisa gave
a very enjoyable lesson with almost 60 dancers taking the lesson! The Shrine Club floor has been refinished
and was a delight to dance on. The dinner was delicious and enjoyed by all. An exciting dance demonstration
was given by Sam and Lisa and their two boys. Sam`s music selections were great for dancing and we finished
in the black! The entire evening was a great success and we have reserved them next year should the club decide to have the event in 2016.
Thanks to all who came out and supported the Carolina Beach Music Festival. We had a good turnout and the
CFSC got a lot of good publicity and everyone had a blast.
The next meeting will be July 11 at the Soundbar Lounge at 2505 Carolina Beach Road. There will be a cookout at 6 pm in their outdoor patio in addition to dancing to DJ music. Please join us for a fun evening. There
will be Fun Monday tickets for sale so please support this very enjoyable Fall SOS event.
We will be back at the Shrine Club for our regular August 8 CFSC meeting.
