Sutasi Launch Party
Assisting in the Search for Tomorrow’s Stars
Asia Sounds Pty. Ltd. is an Australian-based talent spotting company
with offices in Melbourne, Singapore, New York and Los Angeles.
Committed to identifying and breaking untapped Asian stars to a
global audience, the company recently embarked upon an Asiawide
talent search. The ultimate aim was to treat viewers across the
region to a spectacular televised multi-national showcase of Asia’s
hottest new talents.
Held at the Royal Thai Navy Convention Hall in Bangkok, the Sutasi
Launch Party was managed by Pico. In organising the event, Pico was
very careful in not placing too much emphasis on any one specific
culture while remaining conscious of each participating nation’s
traditions and customs. Our team achieved these goals by creating
a unique experience which utilised light, colour and multi-faceted
visuals to create a whole new world of entertainment.

Motorola Star Wars Display
Reaching for the Stars in Chicago
When the Motorola Foundation sponsored the “Star Wars - Where Science Meets Imagination”
Exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, they were given their own display
space. Working closely with Motorola, Pico built and installed a display consisting of five
sophisticated sound and video tube display pods, an overhead grid and a 9 ft x 15 ft back
wall in just 10 days!
Three of the five double-sided display tubes were designed to showcase Motorola’s Bluetooth
technology, Connected Home products and Mobile Devices. The remaining two tubes housed
information on Motorola’s history and MOTOREACH environmental commitment.
Aside from the incredibly tight time frame, the biggest challenge facing Pico was the fact
that content kept constantly evolving while the display tubes were being constructed. When
the tubes were eventually unveiled at the display at the Museum, Pico’s designers, the RND
installation team and the Motorola project coordinator were warmly applauded by a large
audience. Among the cheering gala opening crowd were not only several members of
Motorola’s senior leadership team, but also Star Wars creator, George Lucas himself.

The Singapore Army recently hosted a Pico-organised Open House
2007 at its Pasir Laba Camp in Singapore. The turnkey project
involved the division of the Camp into a series of several unique
“worlds.” This meant that various members of the Pico team had
to work closely with different members of the EXCO Committee in
satisfying various on-site requirements and restrictions. Ultimately,
Pico’s promptness and professionalism in providing logistical
support, event management and fireworks for such a challenging
job in such a tight timeframe won many fans among the EXCO
membership. “Your project team’s dedication and commitment to
delivering this event was second to none. Despite complex logistical
challenges and obstacles, your team remained focused at all times,
successfully completing the project with a high level of commitment.
We commend you and your staff upon an outstanding job done and

2007 “Interior Lifestyle China” was the first event of its kind in China. To make sure
the inaugural expo at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre achieved maximum impact and

To ensure the show could establish itself as a high-class marketing and sourcing
platform for international brand names within the China market, Pico worked closely
with the organisers throughout. In addition to creating a unique set of wooden shells,
our duties included decoration of the Designer Forum, Industry Conference and other
essential elements of the show. Our team also helped design the show’s three core
areas: Dining, Giving, and Living.
The ‘Dining’ area contained cookery-related products such as glass, porcelain, ceramics,

Organised by world diamond leader, Diamond Trading Company (“DTC”), the annual

The theme chosen for this year’s DTC Pavilion was “Mysterious Glitter”. The spellbindingly
