LOVE defends pharmaceutical, medical device, and personal care manufacturers in multi-jurisdictional litigation, state coordinated proceedings, and class actions, particularly in the context of recalls and other regulatory issues, including FDA and customs compliance. Avril also resolves business matters brought in federal and California courts involving antitrust, fraud, contract disputes, trade secrets, and other torts on behalf of clients in the construction, aerospace, and communications industries. As well, Avril works with a local legal aid organization to help children get court-appointed guardians. Avril lives in her hometown with her husband and two children. In her free time, Avril enjoys cooking, reading, roller derby, and DIY projects.
