School Mandate
• Many employees at Southern Taiwan Science Park
(STSP) are overseas high tech professionals, IBST is
important for their children, since the school
offers a North American curriculum so that their
education would continue with little
interruption.
Where are we?
We are located in southern
Taiwan in the newly developing
Science park. The area has been
designed to resemble Silicon
Valley in California.
School Mission
IBST, a highly selective, bilingual, college
preparatory magnet program, affiliated with
National Nanke International Experimental
High School, serving the adjoining South
Taiwan Science Park’s goal of recruiting
foreign national and international talent,
calling upon the best traditions of Taiwan’s
public and overseas national (with special
emphasis on the United States) and
international school systems, strives to
provide an excellent education to create
successful bilingual, bicultural individuals.

The Campus
With a total area exceeding 10 hectares,
the vast campus includes separate school
buildings for Senior High, Junior High,
Elementary, and Bilingual students.

The IBST at NNKIEH currently consists of
approximately 139 students and 26 teachers,
providing education from grade 1 to 12. 13
Western teachers and 13 Taiwan’s local
teachers with capabilities to lecture classes
in English.

Students are coming from many different countries, the
US, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Germany, Korea,
Singapore, and Taiwan.

*All the Taiwan’s local teachers hold a master
degree.
*70% western teachers hold a master degree.
