Renowned singer songwriter Jason Singh is opening up his Melbourne home studio to show you what really happens when the studio light goes on as part of his latest venture THE JASON SINGH PROJECT. Setting himself a goal of delivering six singles in 12 months, Jason will write, produce and release a new single every eight weeks; taking you on a journey through the formidable music industry terrain, no holds barred. The first single from The Jason Singh Project, QUICKSAND, will be released at 8pm 21 October. QUICKSAND showcases the peak of Jason’s songwriting prowess. With its thick lush vocals and multi-­‐format production QUICKSAND is a smash hit in the making. Once QUICKSAND is released, Jason’s timer starts again and the countdown to single two begins. “I’m excited about doing something different, something unique. I want to bring the Fans along for the ride with me and share the process; tracking it all the way from writing the original idea, to the lyrics, to production, mixing and eventually the release of the song.” Jason Singh is best known as the lead singer in 90’s hit making band Taxiride with songs such as “Get Set” and “Everywhere You Go” the band reached extraordinary heights including two consecutive number one platinum selling albums & the 1999 Aria Award for Breakthrough artist. Since the success of Taxiride Jason has gone on to have an impressive solo career with the release of two Top 10 Aria club hits “The World As You Know It” and “One World”.
