information about installation and maintanance for a long life-time of the
product.
TANSA have rights to make mechanical and electrical equipment changes on
products so there can be minor differences between the information on
operations manual and delivered products. OR TANSA reserves the right to
make changes on the products. The products on the data sheets may have
been upgraded or changed therefore may not reflect the units.
1.b
Safety Warnings
- The access keys to the mechanism must only be used by staff who have been
informed of the electrical and mechanical risks that they would run in the event of
negligent manipulation.
- Before opening the housing, cut off the power supply.
- Any internal element that could be live or in movement must be handled with care.
- The equipment has been configurated in "minimum risk" for its users. Installation,
settings and changings must be carried out with full knowledge of the facts by
qualified personnel and shall in no way invoke any liability for TANSA.

Remote Controller: Can be used to control all automatic swing gates. Open and Close functions
can be controlled seperately by two different buttons.
Automatic Opening Sensor: Can be used to control SG112 and SG312 swing gates in entrance
and exit directions seperately. For each direction a small ultrasonic sensor is mounted on the body
to sense the pedestrians from 20 cm up to 1 meter distance.
Button Control Box: Can be used to control all automatic swing gates. With two push buttons
(NO) Open and Close functions can be controlled seperately. Up to 5 different swing gates can be
controlled.
Glass Wing: Glass wing is standard in LTT-343 model. It is not used for other swing gates
because of its weight.
Security Photocell: Can be used in all models except LTT-343. This sensor prevents closing if
there is a pedestrian who stands in front of the closed arm position. Also during closing, if a
pedestrian comes to the closed arm position, the arm will stops and re-opens in order to prevent
hitting. This sensor consists two seperate parts. Transmitter and the reflector.
Counter: Can be used only in LTT-343 model to count the total passages in every direction.
Automatic Opening Photocell: Can be used in all models except LTT-343. This sensor consists
two seperate parts. Transmitter and the reflector. Both parts should be installed face to face from
any distance to swing gate to maintain a corridor. Wiring needed between the transmitter and the
swing gate. The sensor senses the pedestrian when he/she passes through the transmitter and
reflector, and the gate will opened automatically.

3 INSTALLATION
3.a
Unpacking
Please check the swing gate visually after unpacking. If any damage or missing part is
realized place contact with TANSA.
3.b
Wiring
3x1.5mm power cable and 5A fuse needed for operating. 10A fuse recommended for
earth. Data cables should run on a different line than electrical cables.
3.c
Placing the Swing Gate
Ground should be flat. The body should be installed first and the arms later. 50 mm
distance recommanded between the swing gate and any other object around (See Part
3.e). It is optional to leave the distance more or less than that. Steel or chemical dowel
should be used for ground connections.

Ground Installation
SG112 / SG312: 1. Place the swing gate to its installation position. 2. Mark around
bottom of the body. 3. Remove the swing gate 4. Remove the M6 socket head bolts to
release the installation plate. 5. Place the installation plate on the marked surface. 6.
Mark the installation holes. 7. Drill the ground from marked spots. 8. Bolt down the
installation plate. 9. Place the swing gate on the installation plate and thighten the M6
socket head bolts.
2mm Distance
SGWMC / LTT-343: 1. Remove the upper part of the body from the bottom part 2.
Remove the bottom part from the frame which is welded to installation plate. 3. Mark
and drill the installation holes. 4. Place the bottom part of the body and screw on to the
frame. 5. Complete the wiring. 6. Place the upper part of the body and screw on tightly.

5 Instructions for Use
5.a
Usage
Any kind of access control system can be easily connected to swing gate (card or
biometric readers, push botton, remote controller, coin or token acceptor... etc).
Do not push or pull the arm during operation.
Do not put anything such as purse, suitcase etc. on the gate cabinet.
Swing gates are fail-safe during emergency or power failure.
5.b
Operating Modes
Swing gates are fail-safe during emergency or power failure (Standard)
Swing gates are fail-locked during emergency or power failure (Optional)
SWING GATES
5.c
Operating System Specification
Swing gates have full control in both directions by a microprocessor controller and can be easily
connected to any kind of access control system (card or biometric readers, push botton, remote
controller, coin or token acceptor... etc). Can remain OPEN for allotted times. Double units can be
controlled syncronised in face to face installation in order to prevent larger entrances or exits.

Cleaning
Periodical body, arm and wing cleaning is recommanded.
Cleaning supplies that contain acidic chemicals might damage AISI 304 stainless
steel and leave a stain on it.
Please use liqued cleaners that contain soft chemicals such as stainless steel or
window cleaning sprays.
6.b
Maintanance
Dust and dirt can effect the life-time of the mechanism. Mechanizm should be
cleaned periodically.
- Before opening the housing, cut off the power supply.
