WELCOME TO OPEN ARTS FEST 2014
Open Arts Fest is Downtown Boulder’s premier summer arts
event and a Pearl Street Mall institution now in its 36th year.
DBI and OpenArts are thrilled to partner for a fourth year to
celebrate visual arts in the heart of America’s most creative city!
This year’s event will showcase the talents of over 100 artists
from 20 states. Visit our website (OpenArtsFest.org) to preview
them all in advance. And that’s just the beginning.
A quick study of the event map reveals locations of art activities
for kids in the Clementine Studio Art Activities Tent. Take in an
aerial dance performance by Boulder’s own Frequent Flyers – or
the Fractal Tribe of circus performers! Also check out the many
˜œ˜‡«ÀœwÌ}ÀœÕ«ÃÃiÌÕ«>œ˜}̅i“>>˜`i>À˜“œÀi>LœÕÌ
the amazing work they do to make Boulder a vibrant and fun
creative community.
Once again this year, we’ve transformed the northeast side of
the courthouse lawn into a lovely outdoor picnic area (shade
provided). Grab a bite from any one of downtown’s amazing
eateries. We encourage you to stop, take it all in and enjoy the
weekend with us.
Of course no trip to Downtown Boulder is complete without
visiting our unique shops and restaurants – and one of the many
art galleries that call Downtown Boulder home year round.
We personally invite you to enjoy your day, wear plenty of
sunscreen, drink lots of water and don’t hesitate to ask anyone
wearing an Open Arts Fest T-shirt for help if you need it.

THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS
OpenArts and Downtown Boulder extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated interns, Michelle Kolvitz and Sammie Elvove,
all of the organizations and individuals performing throughout the festival and their supportive volunteers (Boulder Guitar
Society, Bridge House, Boulder Ukulele Group, Fractal Tribe, Frequent Flyers and Ready to Work), and every one of our tireless,
