the midst of a capital campaign that will triple
the size of the Arvada Campus. Once complete,
this campus will be designated as the College’s
Health Careers Campus.
Regional Transportation District (RTD)
The RTD FasTracks Gold Line commuter rail
project is building three stations in Arvada: one
near Sheridan Boulevard, one in the heart of Olde
Town Arvada, and one at I-70 and Kipling Parkway.
The Gold Line Corridor is one of two corridors
that are a part of public-private partnership. Under
this partnership, RTD has contracted with a team,
referred to as Denver Transit Partners to design,
build, operate, and maintain the project. The Gold
Line is expected to start service in the Fall of 2016.

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities
Since its opening in July 1976, the award winning
Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities has
grown to become one of the nation’s largest
multidisciplinary arts centers, dedicated to many
aspects of the arts, including theater, music,
dance, visual arts, humanities and education.
Host to over 350,000 visitors a year, the Center
offers a full theater season; Summer Stage
outdoor concert series showcasing local and
national performing artists; world-class art
exhibitions with emphasis on Colorado artists;
historical museum exhibitions; camps and
classes for children and adults of all ages and
skill levels in ceramics, drama, dance, music,
writing, visual arts and more. The Center also
includes a banquet facility for corporate and
social gatherings. The Arvada Center is located

Ralston Central Park officially opened in 2014
and offers: a state-of-the-art water spray park,
covered picnic pavilion with seating for 100,

The Arvada Visitors Center is a resource
