• Placing of Orders: an order only becomes valid after we have issued
an order confirmation. This confirmation implies the acceptance of our
conditions of sale. Any particular conditions of sale of the purchaser are
without effect and will be replaced by our conditions of sale, unless a
written agreement from us exists to this effect.
• Date of Delivery: delivery dates given on our order confirmations are
only an estimate and possible delays do not give the purchaser the right
to cancel the sale, to refuse the goods or to claim compensation and
interest, unless in the case of a particular and exceptional agreement in
the form of a precise contract. Gymnova UK shall not be liable for any
delay or consequences of such delay caused by any matter beyond their
reasonable control.

It is our policy that the recipient opens the parcels within 48 hours and
reports any damage that was not apparent at the time of delivery to
us within this time limit. Any damages noticed at the time of the delivery should be noted on the delivery note and Gymnova UK should
be notified immediately.
• Claims: Any claim must be notified to us in writing within 3 days
of delivery of the goods and damaged articles only will be replaced. Any unreasonable return will be refused. We will notify you in
writing of the conditions of return to our premises. Any goods
which have been specially designed for the purchaser, will not be
taken back or exchanged by Gymnova UK, unless faulty.
• Payment Terms: Payment terms are part of the general conditions of sale. Any partial implementation of an order, which is
considered a particular transaction, will be subject to sepa-

• Penalty Clause: any order implies the acceptance of our general conditions of sale, which are stated in our catalogue and in particular the
PENALTY CLAUSE. Unless an extension of the payment terms has been
agreed in writing, the failure to meet our payment terms will have the following consequences:
1. Gymnova UK has the right to claim immediately the entire amount owed
regardless of any agreed alteration to our terms.
2.Gymnova UK has the right to claim, because of the damage and interest
penalty clause, a compensation of 15% of the amount owed to the
Company, and further additional legal interest and judicial costs.
• Terms Under English Law: these conditions shall be subject to and
construed in accordance with English law and the purchaser shall submit
to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
If any dispute, as to the proper interpretation of these terms cannot be settled by agreement it shall be referred for determination to a single referee,
pursuant to the provisions of the Arbitration Act 1950 or any statutory
modification thereof and to be appointed in default of agreement by the
President for the time being of the Law Society.
In the event of the purchaser failing to make payment as required by these
conditions the Company shall be entitled to charge interest on a daily
basis until payment has been received at a rate of 3% above the Bank of
England minimum lending rate prevailing during the period of such a
default.

I nflatable tumble tracks

springs, the track provides a smooth precise rebound. It can be
easily used by streams of gymnasts. Visual orientation is assured
by the raised edges and different colour.

Landing and safety mats
Information on the European standards regarding landing and safety mats
Rules to which all manufacturers of sports mats have to conform
Precautions for buying landing or safety mats
The NF-EN 12503 standard defines the reference frame for respecting the
physical integrity of the users. The aim of this standard is to guarantee the
conditions which are as safe as possible for the use in schools and
gymnasiums. This standard has been official since June 2001.
In order to see whether a landing or safety mat conforms with the
European standard, you must check the following information on the label :
• Year of manufacture
• The reference number of the standard
• The corresponding type of landing or safety mat.
Important warning regarding legal responsibility
The application of a standard is voluntary (the choice of the manufacturer or
the owner). For the courts they represent the written expressions of the rules
of art. In case of a problem, it is to prove that the performance of the
doubtful material is at least equivalent to the reference standard.

Landing mats
Our landing mats for apparatus consist of a combination of foam of different densities with removable
covers made of 1000 denier PVC, grain leather, M2 fire classified. They are provided with carrying handles
and a Velcro system to link them to each other and to avoid gaps (Velcro on the top).
Some have “cut outs” to fit the feet of the apparatus. You need to distinguish two categories : “landing
mats in accordance with European Standards” and “landing mats in accordance with F.I.G. standards”.

The general characteristics of our landing mats which conform to the FIG
standards are described on page 11. They are made from a combination of
foam layers which allow an optimal stabilisation for landings (a guaranteed
plateau effect for better weight distribution).
They offer comfort and shock-absorption allowing the practice of the most
difficult exercises on all apparatus in women’s as well as in men’s gymnastics.

directives, we propose two economical solutions.
1 • Kit to raise and re-cover
Conform to the new standards by renovating your mats.
The kit consists of additional foam of 8 cm and a new 20
cm cover. You only have to take the foam from your existing
mat of 12 cm and insert it with the supplied foam into the
new cover.

This module set allows the creation of
movement situations for the little ones who
do baby-gym (pass into, above, underneath,
with round or square shape, rectangles or
triangles), but also for use in daily practice
on apparatus (see pictures). The position

of research by numerous coaches and teachers.
In order to respond to the demands of teaching
gymnastics, they have been tested in the biggest
gymnastics and psychometrics centres.

to transport. They can be put together in various

Tatamis standard EN 12503
The only mats which are licensed and recommended by the F.F.J.D.A. The density corresponds to the weight in relation to the volume. It
is necessary to know that the density is not the
most important quality criterion of judo mats.
The resistance to sinking (hardness) is a lot
more important ; mats that are too soft or too
hard can be dangerous for the practice of judo.
A good mat has to be comfortable (comfort
for falls) and sufficiently solid to allow fast
movements without danger for the joints.
The EN 12503 mats are currently the only
mats that give all the safety guarantees
for the practice of judo.
Characteristics : tatamis to be taken apart made of agglomerated polyurethane foam
of extremely high quality. Entirely covered by hot thermo-welding, a procedure that
