Fall for Merrimack OPEN HOUSE ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE DAY Follow the order of these activities to help guide you through your day. 1 Merrimack offers a wealth of academic programs for you to pursue, including opportunities to major, minor, carve out a self-designed major, and double major across disciplines. Learn more about academic life, including career preparation, and how you will be empowered to identify and craft an enriching academic journey. Choose which area houses your desired major. She’ll tell you more about this alumni mentor program and introduce you to her mentor, Carol ‘87, Director of Software Development at Oracle. 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. Admission & Financial Aid Workshop In this session, representatives from Admission and Financial Aid will cover the nuts and bolts you’ll need to prepare for a successful Merrimack application, including requirement for admission and financial aid, important deadlines, and more. CAMPUS CAMPUS WALKING WALKING The 47 LOUNGE has a relaxing atmosphere with large-screen TVs, lockers for commuters, and a full kitchen, making it the perfect place to unwind. 6 Academic Innovation Center TOUR TOUR Visit a Selfie Station, and post your picture to the Merrimack Yapp. Our ambassador social media team will be out and about on campus giving away prizes throughout day. Combining in-classroom study with real clinical experience, the CENTER FOR SPORTS MEDICINE has state-of-the-art teaching laboratories, a training facility for creative handson experiential learning and innovative research, a clinical lab, and a modalities lab. The MERRIMACK ATHLETICS COMPLEX is home to our NCAA Division I men’s and women’s ice hockey teams. 4 47 Lounge Deegan Hall 5 Athletics Complex 7 3 Rogers Center for the Arts 2 Sakowich Campus Center Mendel Center 8 Welcome Center THE ROGERS CENTER FOR THE ARTS is home to soldout shows performed by the beloved student Onstagers Dramatic Society and the Department of Visual and Performing Arts. ADIRONDACK CHAIRS are spread throughout campus and are a perfect spot to grab some fresh air or finish up homework! 9 McQuade Library 1 Cushing Hall Every Wednesday night (and during notable astronomical events), you can stargaze in Merrimack’s MENDEL OBSERVATORY. The historic MOSELEY BRIDGE once carried foot traffic over a Merrimack River canal; it now crosses a beautiful reflecting pool between the Mendel and O’Reilly buildings. NORTH The new WMCK ONLINE RADIO STATION launched in fall 2015, giving students the unique opportunity to produce and broadcast a variety of music, sports, and news radio programming. NORTH RESIDENTIAL VILLAGE opened in fall 2015 and consists of two new residential buildings of four and six student units and includes Honors housing. Important rituals, including Mass of the Holy Spirit, Baccalaureate Mass, and alumni weddings are celebrated in the COLLEGIATE CHURCH OF CHRIST THE TEACHER .
