SWEP DB650 The DB650 is a highly effective, versatile true dual that is a natural choice for chillers and heat pump applications. Its advantage is its ability to offer full performance at both full and partial load. It is optimized for extreme performance with refrigerants. The product is approved for pressures of up to 49 bar (710 psi), so it can be used with the majority of current high-pressure refrigerants, enabling our customers to use the compressor’s whole envelope. SWEP’s versatile H pressure products enable efficient heat exchange in applications combining small flows and high pressures. During the vacuumbrazing process, the filler material forms a brazed joint at every contact point between the plates, creating complex channels. The BPHE allows media at different temperatures to come into close proximity, separated only by channel plates that enable heat from one media to be transferred to the other with very high efficiency. The concept is similar to other plate and frame technology, but without the gaskets and frame parts. 30 25 20 204 (°C) 400 (°F) -196 -320.8 Plate package Cover plate Connections UL (PSI)(bar) 695 650 605 560 515 470 425 380 335 290 50 Circuit 1, 3 Circuit 2 45 40 Cover plate 35 Channel plates Zero hole channel plate 30 25 20 -196 -320.8 204 (°C) 400 (°F) SSP calculation software With SWEP’s unique SSP, the SWEP Software Package, you can do advanced heat transfer calculations yourself, and choose the product solution that suits your application best.
