If you are ready to take your pottery to the next level this is the
class for you! Learn altering, printing, sgraffito designs, wax resist,
glass and ceramic fusing, alcohol glazing, slip trailing and more.
You must have had previous pottery experience to take this class.
Intermediate to advanced skill levels required. All students must
bring their own pottery tools. 8 weeks

Come play in the clay while the kids are in school. Learn the basics of wheel and hand building in a relaxed and fun environment.
The session will begin with a hand building project and then individual instruction will be given to those interested in the wheel.

Advanced Pottery (age 14+)
Alternate throwing on the wheel and hand building with design.
Expand your creativity. Demonstrations weekly. Come experience
clay beyond the ordinary. You will work on advanced projects and
learn how to control large amounts of clay on the wheel. Students

Wheeling and Dealing (age 16+)
If you have never thrown pottery on the wheel or if you are an
experienced veteran, come enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and perfect your skills. Beginners will focus on centering, throwing fundamentals, and glazing. More experienced potters will focus on size,
form, shaping and texture, or other aspects of pottery depending
on the student. There will be group demonstrations and individualized instruction. Students work at their own pace. Bring an old
towel and pottery tools. 8 weeks

Managing Your Digital Images
Do you have thousands of images on your camera memory card,
cell phone, tablet, CDs or DVDs, or hard drive? This workshop is
designed to create a plan to organize your photographic images
(digital and film), and safely store them for keepsake and future
generations. You will learn proper methods for archiving all types
of images. Learn what you need to know about digital file formats, dangers of relying on the ?cloud? for storage and transitioning your images to new technology, etc.

Rich Landscapes—Watercolor
During this one day workshop, students will be led completely through the process of creating a detailed landscape painting in watercolor from a reference photo. Basic
and intermediate techniques will be taught to create a
lively, convincing work of art on a half sheet of watercolor.
The second half sheet will be used to practice and develop
the large variety of skills and techniques shared in class
as we go. Please bring with you supplies for the class
listed on your receipt.

Open Studio (age 16+)
Come join drawing and painting students of all levels who are
looking for studio space as well as the assistance of an instructor
as they work on an existing project or get creative ideas to begin
something new. This is a great way to get in some practice if you
are already taking another class. Students must bring their own
materials to this class. All painting and drawing media is
welcome. 8 weeks

The Artist's Palette

This class will involve all things drawing and paint! We will begin
with acrylic and oil paints and technique and progress into
watercolor painting technique. All levels of students are welcome.
We will work from both still life and images supplied by the instructor or brought in by the students themselves. Some basic
supplies such as basic drawing, painting, and canvas materials,
are covered, but students are welcome to bring their own materials as well. 8 weeks.

This class is geared toward the High School student looking to get
into a college-level visual arts program. Students will create several finished portfolio pieces that demonstrates solid observational skills and understanding of design. We will use a variety of
drawing and painting media and will work from still life and images
provided by the instructor or brought in by the students. 8 weeks.

An exploration of composition and the controls on a DSLR camera. Students will learn to capture the light through use of the various features and settings on their cameras. Assignments will
strengthen photographic skills such as composition, motion capture, and depth of field. Students will need a digital SLR camera
that can be manually controlled. No previous experience needed.

Level I Ballet/Tap/Jazz
(age 6-9)

This one hour class for six to nine year olds will explore Ballet
technique, grace, and flexibility exercises. Tap rhythms and temp
combinations. Jazz techniques proper body alignment/placement
and fun upbeat music! Alternates weeks of tap and jazz. Class
attire requires any colored leotard (skirt is optional), tights, black
tap shoes, pink ballet shoes (elastic on top), black jazz shoes
(optional). Students must wear hair pulled into ponytail or bun. 8

creative twist. Students will learn the basics of studio art drawing: line quality, texture, composition, and building a form in
space with dynamic projects that allow them to explore while
