UMJC Prayer Campaign 2015, April 4 – May 24
Week One, Passover—Dying to Self (Luke 23:44–56) April 4–10
It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour, for the sun died out. And the curtain
of the Temple was torn in two. And Yeshua, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I entrust My spirit.’”
When He had said this, He breathed His last.

Week Two, Resurrection—Alive in Messiah (Luke 24:1–7) April 11–17
UMJC Prayer Campaign 2015, April 4 – May 24
Dates reflect the custom of counting the Omer right after nightfall.
Seven weeks of focused prayer from Passover to the festival of Shavuot, the period of counting
the Omer based on Leviticus 23:15-16:
And from the day on which you bring the Omer, the sheaf of elevation offering—
the day after the Shabbat—you shall count for yourselves seven weeks. They must
be complete; you must count until the day after the seventh week—fifty days. . .
“Why do you search for the living among the dead? He is not here, but He is risen!”

1. Recite the blessing,
Week Six, Renewed in Prayer (Acts 1:9–14 ) May 9–15
3. Pray according to the focus of the week, listed on the reverse. Before saying the nightly prayer,
remember that we are approaching the most high God, and begin with an offering of praise to him.
4. After you pray each night, put aside one dollar— or more!— to present as your offering for Shavuot on
the fiftieth night, in honor of the ancient festival offering:
You must count until the day after the seventh week—fifty days;
then you shall bring an offering of new grain to the LORD. Leviticus 23:16
5. Check off the box for that day on the chart.

Then Yeshua led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. And while blessing them,
He departed from them and was taken up into heaven. After worshiping Him, they returned to Jerusalem with great joy.
And they were continually in the Temple, praising God.
