Hengelo bantams are a new breed, created by years and years of selecting and purposive adding of striking characteristics from other breeds . * The foot feathering comes from the Dutch Sabelpoot bantams *The beard comes from the Faverolles bantams * The crest comes from the Polish bantams * The hen feathering comes from the Sebright bantams * The rosecomb with three leaders comes from the Watermael Bearded bantams TWENTSE CREEPER BANTAM Above: in dun-gold birchen. Onder: in dun-gold laced. Some information on the Twentse Creeper bantam: Intended to be the Dutch counterpart of the ‘foreign’ Serama: the smallest Dutch breed, but with different characteristics. The pursued object is: creating a tiny breed with very short legs, compact body and in new colours that don’t exist (yet) in other breeds. Again a new creation by R.J. Vos.
