Actor Daniel DayLewis paid a visit to the Bantam Cinema on Saturday
to discuss his role as Abraham Lincoln in the new Steven Spielberg film
"Lincoln."
Moviegoers took in a showing of the film and afterwards participated in
a question and answer session with DayLewis, who lives in Roxbury
and was invited to the cinema by its owners, Sidney Koch, David Koch,
Sheila Nevins and Betty Merz.
DayLewis arrived on a motorcycle. Before entering the cinema, he
stopped at Woods Pit BBQ for a bite to eat with Sidney Koch, Nevins and
Merz.
Inside the cinema, employees Sierra Markelon and Chelsea Hayward,
both students at Litchfield High School, and Elizabeth McKenna of Morris
got to meet DayLewis, who was friendly and accommodating to
everyone he met.
