ARTIST WORKSHOP May 27-29, Friday - Sunday 9:00 - 4:00 PM Beginner - Advanced Students REGISTRATION DEADLINE Wednesday, April 27 Plein Air painting outdoors is energetic, exciting, meditative and teaches one to see and communicate more clearly with their paintings. Learning is so much faster when guided by an experienced painter and instructor. In this workshop, Richard will work closely with each student to help with design basics, discuss choosing & mixing of colors, assigning proper values and more. Each day he will do a demo painting and help you with issues while you work on your own paintings. Basic painting experience with oil or acrylic is required. Workshop will be held at various outdoor locations. As the product manager for Savior Faire and Sennelier Artist Oils for many years and an award winning plein air painter, Richard has gained an enormous wealth of knowledge that he will gladly share to help you with your paintings. He is an Artist member of the California Art Club and Co-Chairman of the Bay Area Chapter; member of the American Impressionist Society and the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association. He is one of the MALT painters in Marin County, participates annually in MarinScapes, and is consistently juried into several National and West Coast Plein Air events. He has been invited to Laguna Plein Air, Sonoma Plein Air, Door County Plein Air, Zion National Park Plein Air, San Luis Obispo Plein Air and others.
