NEAL AUCTION’S
ANNUAL LOUISIANA PURCHASE AUCTION™
ACHIEVES $4.02 MILLION
With concerns over the financial and mortgage markets looming, Neal Auction
Company’s October 11 and 12, 2008 Louisiana Purchase Auction™ should serve as
testament to a strong and healthy art market. With one exception, every single one of
Neal Auction Company’s TOP 30 LOTS sold within estimate (11), over estimate (5), or
blissfully well above its presale auction estimate (13). Collector confidence in quality
works of art and antiques remains as strong as ever.
