Belts (grades 8 -­12) All students at Greater Boston Academy must wear a belt with their pants if they are in grades 4 and up. The belt must be solid Black Leather or Pleather; they must fit in Land’s End pants belt loops. Belts must be worn at the waist. Belt buckles must be no larger than a deck of cards and may not contain any symbols, logos, or lettering. No cloth, braided rope belts, braided leather belts, or belts with studs, grommets or designs. No flip-­‐flops, slippers, boat shoes, moccasins or heels; no silver studs or silver buckles –must be all black. Sneakers are allowed for P.E. only. No velcro. No boots allowed inside classrooms unless they can be worn smoothly under skirts, are dressy-­‐style boots (no buckles, laces or studs, etc.) and are all black with appropriate outdoor treads in winter only (October 1 – May 30), AND must be pre-­approved by administration.
