Molding Paste
BEFORE
Cut

1. Use a clipper with a ¾’’-1’’ guard. Start
at the front hairline and work towards the
parietal lifting out as you reach the top of
the section.

6. Use the detailing edger at the back left
hairline to add customized design.

1. Rough dry the hair. Use your fingers to
apply a small amount of Messy Couture
Molding Paste to the palms of your hands
and emulsify. Apply the product to the back
and sides of the head.
2. Continue working around the head
from the bottom hairline to the top of
the section. Make sure to lift away at the
parietal to leave length to blend later with
the top. Complete entire section.
3
3. Blend top and bottom sections along
parietal using texturizing scissors. Use an
upward and outward motion when cutting.

4. Create center parting in the top section,
dividing left and right sides. Starting in
center, create a narrow sub-section, and
cut though to outside edge. Maintain short
to long cutting angle. Repeat on both sides
until complete.
“What are you going to say?”
-Paul Falltrick
1. Place a comb flat against the side of the head. The
point at which the comb lifts away from the head, at the
top, determines the parietal.
2. Separate top and bottom around parietal.
5
5. With your hands, overdirect entire top
section to the left side. Place the solid,
stationary blade of the texturizing scissors
against the right side at the top of the
head. This creates texture within and
maintains length.
2
2. Apply Fiber Shuffle Fibrous Play
Paste into palms, clap hands and spread
fibers through dry hair in a criss-cross motion.
Exit sign. Graffiti tag is engraved in the back
with a special straight-edge etching tool. ID
yourself with a custom design.
