COMING EVENTS
Issue #10
give-aways, free lunch and drinks, bounce
house for kids, swap meet and “rig” show.
But, many agree the highlight of the day was
the car crushing and jumping.
Low Range Off-Road’s 4
th
Annual Show-NShine and Swap meet was held at their
headquarters in Orem, Utah. This years
event was a huge success enjoyed by many.
We had customers from as far away as Italy.
Fall Gathering
Southern New
Hampshire
Several representatives from Trail-Gear, Inc.
of Fresno, CA came and brought their event
trailer, tent, an off-road Tacoma, and displays.
October 11 - 13, 2013
We placed two cars side-by-side and had
Trail-Gear’s custom built Tacoma roll over the
cars first. Then anyone else who wanted to
test their rig could follow.
10th Annual Fall
Crawl
The Cove, Gore, Virginia
October 25 - 26, 2013
On the evening before the main event, many
of us went on a short trail ride up Mary Ellen
Gulch which is in American Fork Canyon,
near American Fork, Utah. This trail is filled
with breath taking high mountain views,
wildlife and abandoned mines.

We extend a special thanks to all our
sponsors, suppliers and loyal customers. If
you were not able to attend this year, mark
your calendars NOW for next year. We
typically hold our Show-N-Shine on the

FEATUREDPRODUCTS
October
Low Range Off Road has tried everything
under the sun for struts for the Sidekick/
Tracker/ Vitara / X90. Nothing holds up to
the abuse the off road industry places on
these things. We have now come up with an
Extended Shaft Guide strut that helps keep
the shaft aligned properly- a major cause
for failures on other aftermarket struts.
These also feature a .984" Shaft for
extreme strength and lateral stability. Not
only that, these have improved dampening
over stock for better handling
characteristics.
NOTE: FOR LIFTED MODELS ONLY

Suzuki Samurai Dual Mount Battery Tray by
Low Range Off-Road
Low Range Off Road is proud to release our new
Dual Mount Battery Tray. This allows the use of
another battery so that all of your high drain
accessories do not take all of your power. This mount is constructed of 3/16" Aluminum. Since battery acid will corrode both steel and
aluminum, we recommend leak resistant batteries
such as the Gel Cell or Absorbed mat style batteries
like the DEKA Intimidator batteries, Optima, or
Odyssey. All of these batteries are available for purchase at Low Range Off Road.
Features:
• Constructed from 3/16" CNC Cut and NC Press Bent Aluminum.
• Mounts to fender behind factory jack mount
Fits:
1986-1995 Suzuki Samurai
• Includes Drill Bit and Hex Tool for installation.
• Includes all hardware needed for installation.
• Works with larger Group 25 Batteries as well as Factory Size Suzuki Samurai Battery. • Can use aftermarket battery straps available at major parts stores and others (Such as our
Spidertrax Aluminum Hold Down Strap) as well as the OEM Suzuki Battery Strap.

PROJECT
UPDATE
1996 Toyota Land
Cruiser FZJ80
2nd Place at Cruiser Fest
This is a 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser,
FZJ80 owned and built by Glen Dagley.
This Cruiser came with factory lockers
front and rear. It also came from the
factory with coil suspension, but has
been raised about 4" using Old Man
Emu "J" coils with 15mm trim spacers
and Nitrocharger "L" shocks on all 4
corners. Glen, has constructed custom
rear storage cabinets, where he keeps
the spare tire and parts. These cabinets
also house an air compressor that
supplies air for the on-board air system.
It has 2.5" custom over-the-frame
exhaust with a hi-flow “cat” and
MagnaFlow muffler. It has a Trail-Gear
HD tie rod kit, and all new ARP knuckle
and hub studs. It is equipped with
35x12.50R16 Maxxis Treppador tires
mounted on factory aluminum wheels.
When Glen first bought
his Land Cruiser
Over-The-Frame Exhaust
Future plans include a winch capable
front bumper and a custom rear bumper
with dual swing outs. Plans also include
an engine “freshen-up” with a turbo
charger and a custom built, aluminum
roof rack. The 4.88 gears for the front
and rear differentials have been
purchased and will be installed soon.
Good Job Glen; thanks for sharing your
project information with us.
