roster, the nonprofit is pleased to announce the addition of celebrities, Shannon Elizabeth,
star of the ‘American Pie’ series, and Verne Troyer, best known for his portrayal of MiniMe in the ‘Austin Powers’ series, as Global Village Champions.

The recent signings bolster Global Village Champions Foundation’s already impressive list
of champions from all walks of life. The foundation includes a star-studded list of
champions highlighted by names such as Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, Manny Pacquiáo,
Celine Dion, Michael Jordan, Buzz Aldrin and King Mohammed VI of Morocco, among
many others.
“With champions like this in our corner, we can knock out world hunger in no time,” said
Nobel Peace Prize nominee Barry.
Founded in 1995 by Barry and longtime friend and boxing legend Muhammad Ali, Global
Village Champions Foundation was created with the mission to feed the hungry and
provide humanitarian relief. Since then, the foundation has delivered over 938,000,000
meals to the hungry around the world.
