Kevin Fleming, Director of Alumni Relations With 15 years of experience within university alumni relations and higher education, Kevin Fleming is poised to lead the Emerson College Alumni Relations program in its efforts to foster the kinship, pride, and connections among alumni toward the institution, each other, and the larger Emerson community. He is enthusiastic about serving as your director of Alumni Relations, and is humbled, appreciative, and excited about his new home at Emerson College! Sarah Earnest, Senior Associate Director of Alumni Relations Sarah joined the Emerson College Alumni Relations team in June, after spending four years in the Alumni Relations Office at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. In her current role, Sarah is responsible for alumni engagement efforts through a range of activities including liaising with regional chapters and affinity groups, event planning, coordinating reunion committees, developing alumni programming, and working collaboratively with various departments, faculty, and staff members on campus to make the most relevant and meaningful connections for Emerson alumni, like you. Boston Tim Neverett '88 has been named the new playbyplay host for Boston Red Sox radio broadcasts by WEEI 93.7 FM. Learn more » Caitlin McCarthy, MFA '94, had her spec script for Elementary make the Top Ten of the Final Draft Big Break Contest. Evan Crean '08 came to the Emerson College Boston campus last semester to participate in a panel on film criticism alongside Boston Globe film critic Ty Burr. Maria Vivas '15 has been promoted to enrollment marketing and communications manager in the Office of Summer Programs, after three months of employment at Berklee College of Music. In this role, Maria oversees the optimization of enrollment by ensuring the highest possible conversion of prospective students to applicants and applicants to enrolled students. Los Angeles Wes C. Caefer '88 has been working in and around the visual effects industry since he graduated. Learn more about his career » Danny Draven (Daniel Hageman) '99 has published his third book on filmmaking, The Filmmaker’s Book of the Dead: A Mortal's Guide to Making Horror Movies. This is the book's second printing, after a successful first edition and a recent release in Mandarin, China. The book, published by Focal Press/Taylor & Francis, is now available on Amazon. Stephanie Storey, MFA '00, will have her debut novel, Oil and Marble come out from Arcade Publishing on March 1. Learn more » New York City Rajesh Bose '93 is returning to Boston this winter to play “Amir” in the Huntington Theatre's production of Disgraced, which runs January 8 through February 7. More information and tickets » Suzie SimsFletcher, MA '93, recently released SamuShamu: The Sonam Stories: Narratives of Childhood in Bhutan. This book, suitable for ages 12 to 92, contains stories written by students about their childhoods and "growing up in a culture that's vanishing with modernization." Katie Naka '04, previously associate director of The Walking Dead Experience, will serve as a line producer for the Beth Morrison Project’s world premiere of Angel’s Bone in the Prototype Festival this January in New York. Shea Gomez '14 is currently on the national tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton, In the Heights, Bring It On). USA Austin, Texas Ashley Blom '10 has signed a contract with Quirk Books to write a book of culinary "howtos," tentatively titled How to Eat a Lobster, to be published in 2017. Dallas, Texas Marissa Lenti '14 has just seen two of the biggest releases of her voiceacting career. She has appeared in the popular anime productions from media production house FUNimation, One Piece as “Mistress Sadie” and Fairy Tail as “Libra”. She will be presenting as a VIP guest at Texancon 2016 to talk about her developing career. Denver, Colorado Alan Gionet '87 won an Emmy award in this year’s Heartland Regional Emmy Awards. Alan, a Massachusetts native, currently anchors mornings for CBS4 in Denver.
