Billy "Richard" Doss
65, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away May
23, 2008 at his home near Prairie Grove. He was born March
9, 1943 at Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Cofford and
Mary Mae Osburn Doss.
Richard was a Brick Mason for thirty-five years. He was the
founder of Doss Construction/Trucking. He enjoyed old cars,
eating and visiting with anyone who wanted to talk. He loved
to go fishing and camping.
Survivors include his wife of forty-seven years, Carolyn
Sue Doss of the home; three sons, Billy Craig Doss, Tony
Lynn Doss, and Richard Allen Doss all of Prairie Grove,
Arkansas; one daughter, Candice Sue Dobbs of Prairie
Grove, Arkansas; three brothers, Roger Doss of Prairie
Grove, Arkansas, James Doss of Springdale, Arkansas,
and Donald Doss of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three
sisters, Lorine McCarver of Fayetteville, Arkansas,
Betty L. Ralston of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, and Verna
Osburn of Lincoln, Arkansas; three half brothers, Roy
Doss, Bobby Doss, and William Doss all of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; eleven
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
