Come join in on a fun filled family event with the Easter Bunny. Kids can
show off their creative side by making crafts and participating in Easter
activities. We will have face painting, caricatures by Cory Geishauser as
well as a great brunch! Don’t forget to bring your cameras to capture these
special moments. ALL AGES WELCOME!!

BABYSITTERS WORKSHOP: March 10 & 12
6:00 to 8:30PM, Ages 11 & Up
This course, held at the Y, offers youngsters a chance to learn
and excel at babysitting skills. We will provide teens with the
basic skills they need to look after
children, understand basic prevention, and deal with emergency
situations. After this two-day
course, participants will receive a
certificate of completion.

PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS

The Hollidaysburg Area YMCA established its Preschool program
in 1978 to provide a quality preschool experience for children
ages 3-5 years. Degreed teachers and assistant teachers offer a
structured program that helps children prepare for kindergarten
by developing cognitive, social and physical skills.
Our Kinder Club program is located at the Hollidaysburg Area
YMCA’s main location and our NextStep program is located at
the Children’s Center. Call for more information, 695.3204.

BIDDY T-BALL: March 31 to May 19
Tuesdays 4:30 to 5:30PM, Ages 4-8 years
BIDDY OLYMPICS: March 3 to March 24
Tuesdays 4:30 to 5:30PM, Ages 4-8 years
Biddy T-ball serves as an introduction to the sport of baseball. The concepts of offense and defense are included in
the development of individual skills of batting off a tee,
base running, catching and throwing. Member Rate: $36,
Public Rate: $59
Biddy Olympics emphasizes individual athletic skill development.
Each event will be instructed, practiced, and measured. Improvement is the objective with the final practice featuring: half court
sprint, 2 laps, throwing (accuracy & distance), long jump and
obstacle course (not practiced).
Member Rate - $18, Public Rate - $29
SWIM LESSONS: New sessions starting March 2
Times and Days vary by age group.

CORY-OGRAPHY: March 18 to April 22
Wednesdays 5:30 to 6:30PM, Ages 13 & Up
Solo line dancing like you’ve never seen it before. Tapping, snapping, and clapping Rock n Roll, Country Western Music and some
Club Mixes. Wear your comfortable clothing to dance in. You’ll
have so much fun singing and dancing, you’ll forget you are exercising. This dance program is designed for the beginner and intermediate line dancer. There are no advanced line dances in this
particular session. Member Rate: $40, Public Rate: $52
POOL PARTIES
AT THE Y!
At the Y, we believe the ability to swim is a critical life skill
for everyone. In swim lessons, we use a variety of fun methods to help kids overcome fears, build confidence in the
water and develop skills that last a lifetime. Qualified
instructors meet swimmers at their own level and celebrate
all successes.
KEN BRUMBAUGH RACE: March 22

Come out to our first event of the year, the 19th
annual Ken Brumbaugh Memorial Race. Rain, sleet, or
snow - we will be there! This race offers a 5 mile run,
2 mile run and a 2 mile walk. 2013 registrants were
approximately 365.
Early Registration (by 3/8) $21/Family, $22/Individual
Pre Registration (3/9-21) $25/Family, $27/Individual
Day of Rate (3/22) $33/Participant
