The VEGASCLASSIC is adding a new race called VEGASRACE.US Birds will be accepted
September through November of 2009.
The race will be flown in March from Wells, Nevada, 350 miles.
This has always been Fred Smeltzer of Ipigeon’s idea and we have had positive response from the Europeans and expect 150 birds from them. A lot of fanciers race to youngsters on the last races and have
nowhere to go with them and we want to be that place!
We expect birds from Belgium, Holland, Germany and the UK.
The birds will be naturally darkened by the short days of fall/winter and will fly like rockets.
We are approved and have room for 1500 birds without crowding and would love to put on a race of this
magnitude. It is gorgeous here in Vegas in March.
Escape the cold frozen country and fly to Vegas for a Great Race!!
I have lowered the perch fees from $150 to $100 per bird to help out in these hard times we
are facing. The more birds we have the better the race!!
Put a pair together or pair your best Young Birds and send the youngsters to Las Vegas.
Lets get a BIG RACE going!!
Rules
1. Perch fees are $100.00 per bird, enter 1 or as many as
you like.
2. Entry fees are $200.00 due after the 100 mile toss.
3. The first 10% of the birds shipped to the race will make
money based on percentages.
4. 5% of the entry money will go to the overall bird based
on average speed on 4 races.
5. George Rankin’s P Ranking will be used and that bird
will get a ‘P’ Ranking Trophy
6. The first drop will split the prize positions, after that the
payouts are by the clock.
7. 100% of the prize money will be paid out.
8. All pools paid by the clock.
9. 15% of the pools will be cut for race day expenses.
10. We will auction the first 50 birds and split 50/50 after
expenses. If you don’t want to be part of the auction
merely pay $100.00 per bird at shipping the
VEGASRACE.US
11. We will need your SS number when checks are
issued.
