We are a hard rocking band, that loves playing live and creating music that is both melodic and heavy. The fusion
of 20+ years of musical influence and the creativity of the imagination is what gives Steelwolf the distinct sound
that rocks you.

BIOGRAPHY
The Steelwolf name came about from the mix of the natural, and the hi-tech worlds. Based in Greensboro NC., we
are a metal band with a background in the 80's. While what we play has a sound all it's own, it still shows the roots
the band was formed on. Members of Steelwolf have played all over the US. Opening for acts like Joan Jett, Y&T,
and Molly Hatchet. The band also got a good run touring up north with Blackfoot, at the time playing only covers but with an awesome stage show. Sadly, the band went separate ways in the early 90's. In 1998 Warren and
Johnny put the band back together and have in recent years acquired the talents of Paul Whitsett on lead guitar,
Paul Canham on the bass, and Steve Moore for the job of fronting the band. At this time we have released a 3 song
demo and a full length 10 song cd. We have been in magazines and papers such as E.S.P., PA music, Focus magazine, as well as the Greensboro News and Record. We were also reviewed by a web based E-zine known as
Strutter'zine. Steelwolf has been recently approached with label interest overseas and we are diligently working on
putting together a new CD.

BAND MEMBER BIOS
STEVEN MOORE (CRASH) - LEAD VOCALS
Crash is originally from PA. He grew up listening to Metallica, ACDC, RUSH, Skid
Row and the like. He's been singing for going on some 10 years now. He adds his
own little flavor to all the songs he belts out. From deep roaring growls to high
pitched screams he keeps it real on stage.
WARREN DEATHERAGE - GUITARS
Hard and heavy sound that knocks down walls. Warren has been playing for about
20 years. His roots run deep into music of the south sharing the same stage as
Blackfoot, SRA and Lynyrd Skynyrd. He brings the love of the south to the world
of metal and what a sound. His weapons of choice are Gibson, Jackson guitars with
2 marshall stacks in stereo.
PAUL WHITSETT - LEAD GUITAR AND VOCALS
Grew up in Chicago Ill...been playing for 17yrs. musical tastes are delta blues to
heavy metal.. main influences are Ian Moore, Zakk Wylde, and Stevie Ray.
JOHNNY TESH - DRUMS AND VOCALS
Thunder down under, there's not a stick that he can't break. Johnny has a driving
force that is second to none with his hereos being people like Peter Criss and Eric
Carr to Alex Van Halen.
PAUL CANHAM - BASS AND VOCALS
Paul digs the 80's music, his like likes range from Motley Crue, Guns 'N' Roses,
Faster Pussycat, Whitesnake, KISS, and more! He loves to write slick bass lines and
mood-provoking grooves with the original tunes, all the while putting his own personal touch on any cover song the band churns out.
