Upon arrival at India Gandhi International airport, you are greeted by our representative.
Early morning arrive Delhi, check in immediately.
Later pick up at 0900 Hrs. for full day city tour of Old and New Delhi:
This morning after breakfast leave for full day city tour of Delhi. In Old Delhi you will visit Raj Ghat - the
cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid and after this drive past Red Fort and visit Chandini
Chowk market. In New Delhi you will be visiting Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1193,
Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch), Lakshmi Narayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple.
Also drive past President's House, Parliament-House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place
shopping center. Overnight in Hotel Le Meridien, Delhi.
Meals included: Breakfast at Hotel & Welcome Dinner on fixed menu (without drinks) at Veda Restaurant (at
Vasant Kunj).

29 Feb 2016, Monday: Delhi – Agra – Delhi (Same day excursion)
Morning pick up at 0730 Hrs. Arriva Agra and visit Taj Mahal (closed on Friday). This white-marble world
wonder was built by a great emperor in memory of his beloved. Later visit the palatial Royal Pavilions at the
red sandstone Agra Fort for a glimpse of the royal Mughal lifestyle. After the sightseeing, lunch and later drive
back to Delhi. Overnight is at Hotel Le Meridien, Delhi.
Meals included: Breakfast at Hotel & Lunch (drinks/ beverages not included) at local restaurant in Agra.

Morning pick up at 0730 Hrs. and straight drive to Rishikesh. Arrive Rishikesh and transfer at Hotel Dewa
Retreat, Rishikesh. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight is at Rishikesh.

Morning Session: Introduction of Yoga and its philosophy. Yoga is a
science of right living and it works when integrated in our daily life. It
works on all aspects of the person: the physical, mental, emotional,
psychic and spiritual. The word yoga means ‘unity’ or ‘oneness’ and is
derived from the Sanskrit word ‘yuj’ which means ‘to join’.
Evening session: This evening after knowing a little bit more about
Yoga, practice the basic and warming up postures. Overnight at Hotel
Dewa Retreat, Rishikesh.
03 March 2016, Thursday: Rishikesh
Morning Session: Traditional Hatha Yoga style postures. Hatha
Yoga is most often used to describe gentle, basic classes with no flow
between poses. A hatha class will likely be a slow-paced stretching
class with some simple breathing exercises and perhaps seated
meditation.
Evening Session: Basics of breathing with the introduction of
pranayama. "Pranayama is control of Breath". "Prana" is Breath or
vital energy in the body. On subtle levels prana represents the pranic
energy responsible for life or life force, and "ayama" means control.
So Pranayama is "Control of Breath". One can control the rhythms of
pranic energy with pranayama and achieve healthy body and mind.

Morning Session: Restorative yoga style postures. This morning
practice some more yoga postures.
Evening Session: Introduction of mantras with chanting.
A mantra is a sacred verse or sound. Symbolically it represents a
spiritual experience. A large Yoga Mantra collection with translations
from Sanskrit.
The most popular (mantra) consists of only letters: O-M! Yet there are
numerous mantras which symbolize the spiritual background of Yoga.
Traditionally, we open and close our Ashtanga practice with a mantra.

Here you will find the most important mantras in their original Sanskrit writing as well as the word-by-word
translation.

Morning Session: Introduction of Ayurveda and Yogic life style.
Ayurveda, which literally means the science of life (Ayur = Life, Veda = Science), ayurveda is an ancient medical
science which was developed in India thousands of years ago. Believed to have been passed on to humans from
the Gods themselves, Ayurveda developed and evolved into what it is today from several ancient treatises,
most notably Adharva Veda which dates back to five thousand years. The ancient Vedic literature by sages has
clearly laid out instructions to maintain health as well as fighting illness through therapies, massages, herbal
medicines, diet control and exercise
Evening Session: Introduction of Meditation with its practice.
The term meditation refers to a broad variety of practices that
includes techniques designed to promote relaxation, build internal
energy or life force and develop compassion, love, patience,
generosity and forgiveness. A particularly ambitious form of
meditation aims at effortlessly sustained single-pointed
concentration meant to enable its practitioner to enjoy an
indestructible sense of well-being while engaging in any life

Morning Session: Power Yoga style postures. Power Yoga is the
Western version of the Indian Ashtanga Yoga which emphasizes
developing one's physical flexibility and nurtures the desire for self-

discipline. The name Power Yoga says it all. It is one of the several types of Yoga that has the same potential of
emulating a rigorous full-body workout and promotes mental stability and concentration. Be forewarned
though that Power Yoga practice may hurt at first.

Morning Session & Evening Session: Practice of Kundalini Yoga
Meditation. Kundalini Yoga also known as laya yoga, is a school of yoga.
Kundalini yoga was influenced by the tantra and shakta schools of
Hinduism.Kundalini yoga derives its name through a focus on awakening
kundalini energy through regular practice of meditation, pranayama,
chanting mantra and yoga asana.Called by practitioners "the yoga of
awareness", it aims "to cultivate the creative spiritual potential of a human
to uphold values, speak truth, and focus on the compassion and

08 March 2016, Tuesday: Rishikesh – Dehradun by road and Dehradun – Goa via Delhi by flight
Pick up at 0900 hrs. to board flight from Dehradun airport for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and self-transfer to the
departure terminal to board the connecting Air India flight to Goa via Bombay. Arrive Goa and check in the
Hotel Ramada Caravela Beach Resort. Overnight in Goa.

Morning pick up at 0900 Hrs. to visit Old Goa (half day tour): - Morning visit Old Goa - the Basilica of
Bom Jesus built in the 16th century, wherein is enshrined in an ornate silver casket the body of St.Francis
Xavier, the most popular and famous of all churches in Goa. Also visit St. Cathedral, the biggest in Goa,
Church of St. Francis of Assisi, St Cajetan Church, built in the style of St Peter’s Basilica in Rome, Church of
Lady of Rosary and Nunnery of St. Monica. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Ramada Caravela

In time transfer to airport to board the flight to Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai, meet assistance and check in the

Morning pick up at 0900 Hrs. to visit city( half day tour) :- Morning visit Kamla Nehru Park, Hanging
Gardens situated on the slopes of Malabar Hill offering a panoramic view of Marine Drive, Chowpatty Beach,
Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan, Dhobi Ghat, Gateway of India & drive through the Crawford
Market, Marine Drive & Flora Fountain. Afternoon free at hotel (No transport services for further local
running). Overnight at Hotel Vivanta by Taj President
Meals included: Breakfast at Hotel and Thali Lunch at local restaurant on fixed menu basis. Farewell buffet
