2.4 VIEWING DATA
Headings on reports, which are highlighted when the mouse is hovered over
them, mean that the information can be sorted. To display the corresponding
figures in descending order, click once on the header of a column.
In addition to a summary report, the data may be viewed as a detailed report, on a chart or on a map.
To change the view, position your mouse over the report/chart/map tab and select the option you require.
To list them in ascending order, click again.
In this example, the report and the
map are showing the same data with
the same criteria selected. The criteria
can be changed as described in the

2.5 SELECTION CRITERIA MENU
This is one of the most important pages in the
System, as it gives you a fine level of control over
the analysis that you will see in the system.
To change the exhibit criteria, click on the
Criteria tab. A sliding menu page will appear at
the left hand side of the screen, showing any
criteria available for you to alter in the active
exhibit.
Once you have altered the criteria, click on Ok
to apply the changes, or Close to return to the
current report without changing anything.
Please note that clicking Ok to apply the changes
will only store them while you are logged in.
To save the variable changes permanently –
until you want to change them - click on Save
as Default on the same page. This also means
that when you next log in, these will be the
default criteria.
Several criteria can be changed at the same
time while on this page. The most common
ones you will come across are time span,
month, registrations/sales category, fuel type,
benchmark and geography.

2.7.1 MY EXHIBITS - SAVE ANALYSIS
2.7.2 MY EXHIBITS - RUN AND MANAGE A SAVED ANALYSIS
Because the application offers a large choice of combinations of analysis through
its navigation tools, you can save an analysis so it is easier to retrieve later on.
Furthermore, since the application deals with monthly data, the saved analyses will be
automatically updated as the period of analysis changes.
To retrieve an analysis that you have saved, select the My Exhibit button from any
screen.
To save the current analysis you are viewing with its criteria, select the My Exhibit icon.
Storage options:
Item Name: Enter the name you want to save the analysis as (or accept the default).
Sort: Enter the order priority you would like to see the new metrics placed in (when
storing more than one).
Your list of saved analyses will be displayed.
Clicking on Run Exhibit will show you the exhibit with the latest available data.
Clicking on Edit will allow you to update the settings of an analysis – that is,
name and sort priority.
Clicking on Delete will remove the shortcut to a saved analysis from your settings.
You must click on Update to Save, or Cancel / Delete to discard.
You can use the Main Menu or Run Exhibit selector icons to exit this page.

2.9 QUERY THE SI2 DATA BASE
The OLAP Cube component allows users to query the Si2 Registrations, Sales and Car Parc Databases
through an interface similar to an Excel Pivot Table.
For each OLAP Cube, user can decide which data attributes should be included in the rows and columns
of the multi-dimensional table.
From the grey bar on top of the table there is a list that contains all available data attributes. You can
filter the data by right clicking on the relevant field.
The list of all items will display in a drop down list, where they can be checked and unchecked.
The first time you will use the OLAP Cube you will be asked to allow the installation of the “Contour
Cube 3.0 ActiveX” component on your machine which is required to use the Si2 OLAP Cube.
If you have sufficient privileges on your machine, by clicking Ok to the pop-up window, in few seconds,
the component will be installed and you will not be asked on future sessions.
If you do not have sufficient privileges, you need to ask support to your machine administrator.
