Theworldofsportsisanincrediblething.Weplanourlivesaroundspor8ngevents,andourconversa8onstendtoreflect“the
game”orthethingthathappenedinsports.Wegetdressedup,spendourmoney,tailgate,celebrateandallowouremo8ons
tobedictatedby…sports.Itcanbeoneofthegreatestmomentstowitnessandsome8mesthemostfrustra8ng.
Asgreatandunifyingasathle8cscanbe,weallunderstandthatitismessytoo!Fromsuspension,drugissues,gangrape,and
thebreakingofrulestoexcessivepride,lying,chea8ng,andevendeath–itseemswecan’tescapetheheadlinesofaworld
gonemad.Athle8cstendtogiveusaglimpseofwhatishappeningallaroundus.Somethinghasgonebad.
Youcangivesportsanextrememakeover,buildanewstadium,changeyourteam’sname,getamascot,getnewuniforms,hire
anewcoach,orgetridofadisrup8veplayer.Youcanmakethechange,maketheoutsideextravagantandnew…butifyou
don’tchangewhat’sontheinsideatthecore,itreallydoesn’tmaJer.FCAisfocusedonchangingthecoreoftheperson,by
presen8ngJesusChrist!
Forover60yearstheFellowshipofChris8anAthleteshasfocusedonasimplevision,“ToseetheworldimpactedforJesus
Christthroughtheinfluenceofcoachesandathletes.”Inthemidstofamessyworld,lastyearover62,000madefirst-8me
commitmentstoJesusChristthroughtheministryofFCA!
WehaveseenagreatimpactintheBuckeyeBorderAreathispastyearandonSunday,April10th,wewillgatherforourannual
ChampionsDinnertocelebratethefollowingandmore!
• Weareworkingwith46schoolHuddles(Biblestudies),morethan95teamsandprovidedoveradozenschoolassemblies!
• Over500studentsfrom17schoolsaJendedourannualstudent-ledevent,FieldsofFaith.Over50surrenderedtheirlivesto
JesusChrist!
• Mul8ple3DimensionalCoachingclinicshaveimpactedhundredsofcoaches.
• AlocalYMCAhasaskedustotrainandpartnerintheiryouthsportprograms.
• Over200studentsarebeingtrainedinour3ELeadershipandwewillholdourfirsteverLeadershipCampinJuly2016!
• FCAclubteamshavegrowntomorethan63ministries!
• Women’sMinistryhaslaunched“TheGathering”tohelpgirlsdealwithlifeonandoffthefieldofcompe88on.
WeareprayingforGodtoraiseupmorestafftocarryouttheministryworkthathehascalledustothroughFCA.Weare
thankfulforteammatesinministry,likeyou,whohavejoinedusinprovidingresourcesandprayersupport.Thankyouforyour

theirfirstperiodclass.By9:00amallthestudentsingrades7-12wereintheauditorium.ThemusicstartedandTanyabegan
