While we're still not able to release following kits A065 Caproni Ca.310 Peru, A103 Caproni Ca.310 Norway Service,
SH72235 J-9 and SH72237 P-35A we're releasing the first 1/48 scale kit announced in previous newsletter. Spitfire
Mk.XII is highly detailed kit and we really focused on the chosen camouflages. You can judge it in this newsletter.
Except of the first Griffon powered Spitfire we also prepared the last version of this line, this time in 1/72 scale. The
one is Seafire Mk.47. The large scale modelers will not be omitted, since we're releasing 1/32 scale Airacobra in Soviet
colors. Rare plane collectors will be pleased by the release of Cierva C.30 and Me 263 both in 1/72 scale.
We will release new AFV kits during at the turn of this and next year. These will represent the long awaited
SS-100 / ST-100W heavy tractors and Meilerwagen, the V-2 transport trailer. Both kits will be injected from metal
moulds and will feature high level of details. Meilerwagen kit will allow modelers to build it in both transport or in rocket
liftoff positions.

SH48107 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XII “Low Altitude Fighter” 1/48
Spitfire Mk.XII was less widespread version of this famous fighter mainly due to the low amount of produced machines.
Nevertheless, for the Spitfire development it is one of the most important versions. It was the first Griffon powered
production version. The production had
started in October 1942 when some of the
Spitfire Mk.IX (originally Mk.V) and Mk.VIII
fuselages already on assembly lines were
converted to Mk.XII version. Mk.IX fuselages
featured non retractable tail wheels while
Mk.VIIIs had retractable tail wheel and wing
fuel tanks. Spitfire Mk.XIIs were assigned to
No. 41 and 91 Squadrons.
Both squadrons covered the airspace of South England, La Manche Channel and French and Belgian coastline. Not only
that Spitfire Mk.XII intercepted Luftwaffe bombers but they also successfully escorted Typhoon fighter bombers or were
part of US bombers' escort heading due to France. Even though Spitfire Mk.XII first victory was Junkers Ju 88, the rest of
the tally creates only enemy fighters; 42 Fw 190s, 19 Bf 109s, 46 V-1 flying bombs and one balloon.
The kit contains three sprues with plastic parts and photo-etched parts. Decals included offer marking for 4 aircraft. EB-Z is
one of the less known Spitfire Mk.XII that featured Invasion Stripes (moreover these were of thinner design), EB-B that was
flown by Australian ace D.H. Smith, French ace J. Maridor flew in DL-S that carried Nigeria stencil, the last machine is EB-J
and it features a painting of a leaf under the canopy.
SH72099 Supermarine Seafire FR. Mk.47 1/72
The Seafire development was delayed during the World War 2 compared to the Spitfire one. This trend continued even
after the war has ended but the development
of the last Seafire version wasn't influenced
at all. Even though the fuselage of Seafire
Mk.47 was derived from Spitfire Mk.24 but
Seafire Mk.47 was powered by Griffon 88
driving contra-rotating propellers and the
carburetor's intake was prolonged almost to
the propeller's spinner. It also featured wing
fold mechanism. Seafire Mk.47 were
assigned to active service in 1948. During
1949 Seafire Mk.47s from aboard HMS
Triumph participated in fights against
communists' clash in Malaya. In following year the same machines fought in real war Korean Conflict. Seafire Mk.47
remained in active service until 1954.
The kit of this beautiful aircraft contains four sprues with detailed plastic parts, a sprue with clear parts and decals. The
latter offer markings for three FAA machines. Seafire no. 137 with wartime camouflage pattern and national insignias
based aboard HMS Ocean, machine no. 151/ BR in post war camouflage pattern based at RNAS Bramcote land base.
Thins machine also sport yellow and red stripes. The last machine, no. 178 that operated over Korea in 1950, sports
black and white stripes.
SH32028 P-39N/Q Airacobra „Soviet Guard Regiments“ 1/32
Due to its unorthodox design that featured engine located behind the pilot's cockpit, P-39 Airacobra was not US pilots'
dream fighter. Nevertheless, Soviet pilots really liked to fly Airacobras. From all the aircraft delivered to Soviet Union as
part of Lend-Lease, P-39s accounted a large percentage. During the low level fights on Eastern Front Airacobras were
highly dangerous to its opponents. Guard Regiments with many aces including the best ones as Pokryškin or Glinka
were preferably equipped with Airacobras.
We haven't released the kit of the late versions N and Q, yet. Decals included (three sheets!!!) in this kit offer marking for
three machines flown by Soviet aces. These are P-39N „Krasnoyarsky Komsomolets“ flown by Colonel Sobolev that
featured dedication on both sides of fuselage, P-39Q-5 “Yellow 93” flown by Captain Filatov that sported playing cards
paintings and victory markings and the last is P-39N “White 01”. This machines was originally flown by Captain I.I.
Babak. When he was shot down while flying in another machine, his mount was assigned to G.U. Dolnikov who
decorated this machine with expressed revenge stencils for fallen friends (left on the fuselage "For Vanya Babak”, on
right "For Petya Tucek")
A107 Cierva/Avro C.30 „Civilian Service“ 1/72
Even before the flyable helicopters were
designed the autogyro seemed ideal for low
speed flying and short take offs and landings.
The Spanish inventor J. Cierva that lived in
England had started the mass production of
autogyros during 1930s. The most successful
was type C.30. It was produced in Great Britain
and France and it was widely exported. Not only
the military air forces were eager to test the
characteristics of the autopgyros, also the
civilian users wanted to fly it. Thanks to this fact
Cierva C.30 flew over all continents except
Antarctic.
We are releasing limited, 500 pieces run of
Cierva/ Avro C.30 in civilian colors. Decals
included in A105 kit offer markings for 4 civilian
users. You can choose from London
Metropolitan Police, German machine, colorful
Norwegian machine with advertisements and
the last machine served with Czechoslovakian
Bata shoe group.
SH72261 Messerschmitt Me 263V-1 with Sleuch Slepper 1/72
Luftwaffe's effort to stop the
American-British bombing of
Germany led to the usage of
unorthodox combat warfare.
One of them was the famous
rocket Me 163 Komet
interceptor. The troubles that
accompanied its combat
deployment were reflected in
design of much more advanced
aircraft. Its design was shifted between Messerschmitt and Junkers companies. Eventually, the development of the type
designated Me 263 was finalized at Messerschmitt. Only single prototype was built. During the trials it exceeded speed
of 1000 kmh. Since it was rocket powered aircraft it was not capable of independent taxiing. For this purpose a special
tractor Sleuch Schlepper was used. Two versions of trailer were used; either the aircraft was supported by mechanical
booms or inflatable bags.
The kit contains sprue with Me 263 parts, Sleuch Schlepper sprue, injected clear parts for Me 263 and photo-etched
parts. Decals included offer marking for the first prototype.
