Cedar Chest Quilters’ Guild 10th Annual Quilt Retreat in Review The retreat was wonderful, it wouldn’t have been as successful without all of the great help. The teachers were over-whelmed with the teacher helpers, the registration desk was manned every hour, the candy bowls were kept full, rooms were cleaned after each class, etc. We could go on & on with stories of those willing to pitch in and make this retreat one of the best. It ended with tears, screams & hugs. It was just plain fun watching Liz Jacomb & Kaer Neumann’s excitement when their names were drawn as winners of the opportunity quilt and feather weight sewing machine. Kaer (& friends) cried & laughed & danced & hugged when her winning ticket was drawn for the sewing machine. Couldn’t have ended any better. Thanks, thanks and thanks again. This year’s winners!! Liz Jacomb – Quilt Machine – Kaer Neumann Looks like a rowdy bunch! Neighborhood News Fourth Annual Blackfoot Quilt Fest! April 8 & 9 2016 Snake River JR High School blackfootquiltfest.com ~A little about the Blackfoot Quilt Fest The Blackfoot Quilt Fest was created by the Stitch-N-Giggle quilt club in Blackfoot, Idaho. We’re a group dedicated to having the most fun possible while quilting!! The group was formed in 2010 and meets monthly for sharing and learning new quilting techniques. We also make charity quilts, have hands-on project classes, and encourage each other in all aspects of quilting. We organized the first annual Blackfoot Quilt Fest in 2013 and look forward to many more years of stitching and giggling together. .
