Enid has a proud western heritage and diverse history.
Our story is told in a variety of styles in many locations
throughout our community.

Wind down the day in your hotel’s hot tub while the kids
use up the rest of their energy in the hotel swimming pool.
Sunday
Breakfast
Plate-size pancakes and traditional family favorites all
cooked to your liking in a home-style setting at Wee
Too Restaurant. Or choose another restaurant from our
dining guide beginning on Page 7.
Splash Zone Water Park. Speed down water slides, splash
around in the pool or relax and drift in the Lazy River.
OR Oakwood Bowl. Forty lanes, all equipped with
automated bumpers. Remember parents, the bumpers
are only for the kids.
Morning
Government Springs Park. Bring some extra bread
crumbs or crackers and feed the ducks who call the lake
at Government Springs Park home. This was an historic
cattle watering hole on the Chisholm Trail, and a waterfall
overlooks the lake. There’s room to run and plenty of
swings and equipment to play on.
Evening
Sandwiches, salads and casseroles are the specialties
at Angel Delight in the Oakwood Mall food court. The
children will love to watch the mouthwatering desserts
spinning in their own showcase. Or choose another
restaurant from our dining guide beginning on Page 7.
Lunch
Some of the best pizza in Enid is served at Napoli’s Italian
Restaurant. The white-sauce pizza is especially tasty. They
also serve classic Italian dishes and specialties found
nowhere else. Or choose another restaurant from our
dining guide beginning on Page 7.
Meadowlake Park. The kids will love riding the Kiwanis
Train and Carousel. There’s an 18-hole miniature golf
course to challenge all family members and the sno-cone
hut offers the perfect refreshment on warm summer
evenings.
Afternoon
Railroad Museum of Oklahoma. Take the kids into the rail
yard and they can climb inside historic engines, dining
cars and cabooses. Inside, you’ll find perhaps the largest
collection of railroad memorabilia in the United States
and model train sets Dad will be envious of.

What does the Enid Convention &
Visitors Bureau do for you?
We work with local hotels and attractions to share Enid
with the world. We work as an in-house advertising and
public relations agency that develops creative and effective
advertising and places media in strategic publications. We
respond to inquiries from journalists, write press releases,
compile media kits and host travel writers.
Want to bring your reunion to Enid? We can help.
Know of a group you’d like to bring to Enid?

Enid’s Front Door
The Enid Welcome Center is full of helpful information
for you and your guests. We are here for new residents,
longtime residents and visitors, in a convenient location
at the corner of Maine and Independence on the historic
downtown square. We are just three blocks north of
Highway 412 on Independence, or eight blocks east of
Highway 81 on Maine. Come see us. The coffee’s always hot.
