Dear Friends,
“Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that
will cause great joy for all the people.
11 Today in the town of David a Savior has
been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a
baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a
manger.”
Luke 2:10-12
The birth of Jesus is part of the "good news" that I have the privilege of sharing all over the world
through my workshops and curriculum.. The rest of the story is that He died on the cross for each
one of us, was buried, rose from the grave is now in Heaven preparing a place for all those that
believe. Thank you for your help in assisting me to share the "Good News"! Presently as I type this
my lawn is covered with snow. Hard to believe that a month ago I was seeing the rich green rice
paddies of Indonesia and sitting around in shorts with my Indonesian friends.
I travelled to Indonesia with Steve Warehime, president of
Macedonian Ministries. We were invited by Dr. William
Hekman who oversees six BMW colleges on four different
islands. After arriving in Jakarta, we then departed for
Medan, North Sumatra; Tangerang, West Java; Wonogiri,
Central Java and Sosok, West Kalimantan. The students
upon graduation will be come pastors, missionaries and
teachers in many parts of the world where a white person
could not go. We were thrilled at being part of this plan to
share the Gospel. The students' ages ranged from 17 to 25.
I will be travelling to do more workshops in
the new year. I will be in Sierra Leone in
February, once again working with WEO
Ministries, under the auspices of Dr. Dave
Arnold.
On my return I get to do my
laundry then head to Haiti in March for the
Pastors'
Conference
sponsored
by
Macedonian Ministries and directed by
Pastor Louis Destine. As we only travelled
to four of the six BMW Colleges in Indonesia
Steve and I will return to speak at the other
two in May.
Once again the J.O.Y. Chorale is sharing the
"Good News" of Jesus' birth through their
musical program, "Memories of a Merry
Christmas". They have seven programs on
their schedule this year, only the weather
can stop them. Doris continues playing at
Antrim Church as well as at the Grace
Brethren Church and South Mountain
Restoration Center. She likes to keep busy
when I'm out of the country.

We look to the new year with great anticipation. The Lord is
certainly granting us many opportunities to serve Him. Thank
you for upholding us with your prayers and financial support
.hank you for being a part of our exciting ministry. We are
grateful for all the ways you show your love and support. I
wish I could share in a more tangible way the joy that I see
and feel as I minister to the various people groups in the
many places I visit. We love to keep in contact through the
many new electronic devices - although we're a bit
challenged ourselves. May you have a wonderful Christmas
celebrating the Savior’s birth and a blessed New Year!
