challenge in mind we set about creating a
practical solution for our customers that was
functional, elegant and also flexible enough

What is Khamsin?
Fabric screens are popular for a number of
reasons: they are hardwearing, absorb noise
and, above all, look fantastic. However,
until now, they were only ever available as
single desk or freestanding screens.
Khamsin is our first modular fabric screen
that can be linked together in configurations
to suit you. This versatile range can be used
in a multitude of ways including desk mounted,
freestanding or booth solutions. It is also our
most effective acoustic screen, so whether
you want to keep sound in or out, it provides
quiet workspaces wherever you need them.
The Benefits

•Whether you want curves, right angles, booths,
pods or any number of clusters, Khamsin can be
linked together in a multitude of ways.
•Khamsin screens have full fabric surrounds
and are connected together by a pre-fitted,
concealed linking mechanism – no ugly brackets
or clips required.
•The linking system is not only concealed but
also very secure, to create robust structures
that look great.
•Available in a huge range of colours, stitch styles
and quilting options, Khamsin can be specified
to complement any office scheme.
•Height adjustable desks are no problem, Khamsin
can work with almost any kind of desk – or even
without one at all for a freestanding unit.
•Noise distraction is a real concern in the modern
workplace but the thick Khamsin screens are
natural sound absorbers and can even be
specified with additional improved acoustic
ratings if you need it.
•Personalise the space and add finishing touches
with our accessories range that includes name
plates, memo boards and memo trays.

Flexibility is at the core of Khamsin’s design.
The simplicity of its linking system means that it’s
almost harder to find a use that it wouldn’t suit!
From phone booths, to work booths, the uses
for Khamsin are limited only by your imagination.

Specification
The finishes available are almost as varied
as the product itself, so you can tailor it to
perfectly complement your scheme. Khamsin
is available as Simple or Stitch design i.e. either
plain fabric, with quilting or even a combination
of the two. Black and white stitching comes
as standard, but other combinations are
available on request. Want to stitch something
onto the face of the screen itself? No problem.
We can do that too.
When it comes to fabric choices, we have
a wide range of colours to choose from.
Can’t decide? You can even have two with
contrasting inside and outside faces, which
can give quite a stunning effect.
Available as a freestanding option, the
Khamsin feet can also be screw fixed to
the floor, if required.
Khamsin screens have been independently
tested to the appropriate British Standards for
both sound absorption, strength and stability.
