Vaudeville acts, live musicians and puppeteers. Enter and be
entertained by the world’s weirdest wonder emporium!
Navrattan: The Quest for the Lost Gems by Nutkhut
Travel to the mysterious world of the Mughal Empire for shadow
puppetry, cinema, interactive storytelling, traditional Kathak dance,
music & craft workshops. 12:00-19:00, dance finale 19:40
Lost Luggage Porters by Curious Cargo
Travel back in time to a world of monochrome, wonderment and
curiosity with these strolling performers.
Bombay Baja
Europe’s leading Indian brass band. They’ve performed for the
Queen and Bernie Ecclestone, and now they’re here for you!
The Butterfly Collection by NWSI
Gigantic butterflies float around the festival, simply being beautiful
and perhaps sipping some nectar.

Slyncstagram: Premiere of a new digital arts installation,
illuminating how young women from Blackburn see their
environment and community.
Hot & Cold Food & Drink: From all around the world; there’s
more than enough here to keep you fed and watered whatever your
tastes.
Art & Craft Workshops: Work with our resident artists to
create items to decorate the festival and take home afterwards.
Funfair: Roll up, roll up! Fun inflatables and games for the kids;
dodgems and fairground rides for the young at heart.
Handmade and Vintage Market: Portobello Market comes
to Witton Park! Featuring a wide range of unique, local craft and
vintage housewares, clothes and accessories.

Art Exhibition: Featuring photography of last year’s festival and
the winners of the Blackburn Festival Creative Competition.

artwork over the day: grab a can and add your mark.
Real Ale & Cider Tent: Featuring beers from Darwen’s Hopstar
Brewery, cider from Bolton’s Red Bank Cider, and a range of
temperance drinks.
