Amanda Blank is part of a loose collective
of musicians that include Spank Rock,
Santigold, and Diplo. She takes influences
as diverse as 90’s R&B, 80’s dance, indie,
new wave and brit pop and mixes them
into her unique creation. Amanda took
the world by storm with her contribution to
the track “Bump” from Spank Rock’s 2006
breakout album “YoYoYoYoYo”. She’s just
as at home collaborating with Ghostface
Killah and M.I.A. as she is with Britney
Spears on Eli Escobar and Doug Grayson’s
remix of hit single “Gimmie More”. Her

The album’s first single “My Love Was There” pairs indie-pop vocals and
guitar performances with a quick, almost aggressive drum beat. “Out of Here”
defines itself with deep-low vocals over a pronounced bass line during the
verse, only to explode with a Junction signature falsetto-laden chorus.
Conversely “Level Me” builds on a quick guitar riff and poignant vocals,
trumped only by the magnificent use of horns in the chorus. The band also

The mists of Spindrift began casting their hypnotic haze upon the eastern shores of the US
in 1992. For the next decade, the captain of the mothership, singer/songwriter/guitar-slinger,
Kirpatrick Thomas (a.k.a. "KP"), sailed the sonic sea, letting the music carry him and his band
to faraway places to perform for audiences around the world. Eight records later, Kirpatrick
felt the undeniable pull of the west and ventured into the sunset in search of a new world.
Spindrift "west" would be born and a new psychedelic western revival movement would begin.
With Spindrift's penchant for creating epic cinematic soundtracks, it comes as no surprise that
the band has also embarked on a vision quest of their own, with the creation of the feature film,
The Legend of God's Gun. At the heart of the artfully shot independent feature film directed by
Mike Bruce, which was inspired by '60s era spaghetti western movies, is the psychedelic
sounds of Spindrift. Both haunting and hallucinogenic, The Legend of God's Gun soundtrack
takes the listener on a cosmic journey through the desert as a preacher-turned-gunslinger
sets out for vengeance.
With a guitar in one hand and six-shooter in the other, neo-cosmic cowboy Kirpatrick Thomas
and his current band of banditos resurrect the spirits of Ennio Morricone and Bruno Nicolai
and combine them with the ghosts of Velvet Underground and Jim Morrison, weaving a dusty
backdrop to a story of sin and salvation in the wild wild west.

Every Monday Morning
Sarah was born in Des Moines and was raised
in small-town Iowa, an only child who still
remains very close to her family. Growing up,
she wrote poetry, not music.
She never
dreamed one day she’d make a living writing
songs, but her mom knew differently. On her
14th birthday Sarah got a small sound system
and began singing everywhere she could find a
willing audience: weddings, birthdays, talent
shows, pageants, and the Iowa State Fair.
After graduating high school, Sarah headed for
Nashville, on the advice of Joe Carter, Tracy
Byrd’s manager. She was chosen for a contest
hosted by Wayne Newton, which featured 10
contestants vying for a million-dollar recording
contract. She didn’t win, but came in the top
three, and started her career. She was found
on Myspace by Black River Records. Her
debut cd, Every Monday Morning, features
collaborations with some of Nashville’s best
songwriters including David Malloy, Marc
Beeson, Kim Tribble, Marty Dodson, and Jeff
Dayton. The title of the album comes from
Sarah’s regular Monday morning writing
sessions with Jeff Dayton, and each of the
songs reflects a very personal side of her life.
