A troupe of circus freakshow performers, combining their feats of
wonder, skill, and comedy; The SQUIDLING BROTHERS Circus
Sideshow features JELLY BOY THE CLOWN (clown of danger
and science), FIBI EYEWALKER (fire eating, sword swallowing,
dragon-lunged lady), ROC ROC-IT (world's only inflatable boy),
& PRINCESS TWEEDLE NEEDLE (human pincushion).
The bizarre combination of these four characters give audiences a
fast-paced, high-risk, unforgettable experience. Taking from the
American Carnival and Theatre of the Absurd traditions, The
Squidling Brothers have mutated the classic and the modern to
create a style all their own.
These four Squidlings have been traveling around the world
together for 7 years. Based out of Philadelphia and Berlin, they
have performed throughout America, Europe, and even in Tokyo,
Japan.
The Squidling Brothers have headlined the Coney Island Rockabilly Festival, opened for the rock band Primus, and shared the
stage with the famous punk rock band Exploited at the Opatijske
Barufe Music Festival in Croatia.
They have also been featured on television programs such as
AMC's Freakshow Season 2, Oddities San Francisco, featured on
the national news in Holland for the world famous Hanky Panky
Tattoo Museum, and on various local news programs all around
the world.
Off the stage the Squidlings have produced and released a
sideshow horror film (Freakshow Apocalypse) as well as a documentary about Jelly Boy's return to the stage after being rescued
from a house fire (A Clown's Recovery).
As a collective they are planning various traveling shows which
will launch simultaneously in America and Europe this summer.
