The District Collector informed that in the administrative procedure there is no scope for any
Government agency to neglect any representation or complaints from any body against any project.
GPCB has to consider any written representation or complaints against any project only after thorough
investigation and analysis of the same. While concluding the public hearing Pradip Shah, District
Collector informed that as per the norms for employing suitable persons for the industry, due care may
be taken by the company to employ as many as local people in the industry for the proposed project.
He also suggested that the villagers may concentrate for better education of their children to get better
employment opportunity.
The Regional Officer G. V. Patel informed that this public hearing is conducted is a part of
Government Policy to understand the views of all stake holders of the proposal. Ministry of
Environment and Forest Government of India will take a final decision on the proposal after looking
into all technical aspects of the proposal and views expressed in this public hearing. He thanked all for
attending and taking active part in this public hearing.
