We’re not Rubbish! Well done everyone for
taking your rubbish home and/or bringing less
packaging in your school lunches! Our bins
are collected fortnightly and this fortnight we
only filled one wheelie bin for the whole
school! Woohoo! We think that’s good going!
Our whole school visited Te Awhina Marae last Friday, thank you all for
your support, for providing food to share and helping transport and
supervise students throughout the day. Tino pai - te tāpaepae o te rangi!
Welcome A warm welcome to Mrs Amber Beech who will be teaching in
Room 3 on Mondays for the rest of the term instead of Mr Hepburn.
BUS NOTICES Please let us know if your child is not to travel home on the
bus if they usually do so! SEND A TEXT TO 027 526 8842. If you do not
receive acknowledgement of your text it may not have reached us so call
03 526 8842 or email [email protected]. The safety of our
students is our first priority and it is of great concern if we cannot find them
and they are on our list of students to board the bus at the end of the day.
The bus roll is held at the office so please just text or call to let us know.
Thank you for helping us to get your children home safely.
School Photo orders Thank you for returning your order envelopes to
school. The deadline for returns is next THURSDAY 9 June. A couple of
points to remember when returning your envelopes:

You must return your blank envelope to school if you want to
receive your free class photo. (Thanks Festival 2015!)

If you purchase a value pack take $12 off the price as the class
photo is free, so either value pack costs $13, NOT $25

Do not pay to school. All queries and payments to be made
directly to Scott Kilmore (details on your order envelope)

You may also order a whole school photo (as in last week’s
newsletter) at a cost of $10 for 20 x 30cm print, or $12 laminated. Please
request this on your order envelope if required.

Ngatimoti School Cross Country
By Fern – Room 5
th
Last week on Tuesday the 24 of May Ngatimoti held its
school Cross Country. Everyone participated in this event,
tried their best, and had a lot of fun. Well done to all of
the students that took part! 
Everyone supported their house colours Red, Blue, Green
and Yellow, by cheering their houses members and
everyone else on, and wearing the colour of their house.
Great job everyone! And well done Green House who
gained the most house points and celebrated by receiving
a trophy!
A big thank you to: Glen who organized the event and
trained some of the students; Ed for letting us use his land
for our track and the amazing students that joined in! 
Good luck to everyone who was chosen to represent
Ngatimoti at the interschool Cross Country tomorrow! 
