Welcome to the
Hillsboro Trap & Skeet Club!
On behalf of the Hillsboro Board of Directors and membership, I
would like to welcome everyone to the 2015 P.I.T.A State Shoot.
We are hosting this year’s shoot in affiliation with OSTA.
We welcome all shooters and their families to come and enjoy the
fun. Renew old friendships and make new ones. Come and
partake in the hospitality of our club. We aim to make this year’s
shoot enjoyable for all who attend.
RV parking is available with power and water hook-ups as well
as a few dry camping spaces. There is no sewer or on-site dump
station available. RV reservations can be made by contacting the
club at 503-648-2972. Please leave a complete message with your
name and number so we can get you all set up.
Our kitchen will be open for breakfast and lunch during the
shoot. There will be an evening meal available Thursday, Friday
and Saturday.
We urge you to come early and shoot the Gary Morlan Memorial
Shoot on the 12th, 13th and 14th of June as a warm-up to the State
Shoot.
We welcome you all once again and hope you have a fun, enjoyable and safe time.
Marv Brandenburg and the Board of Directors
2
Welcome to the 84th annual PITA Oregon State Shoot. On behalf
of the OSTA Board and the Hillsboro Trap and Skeet Club, we
hope you plan to be with us June 18-21. We extend a sincere welcome to all.
Under the guidance of Marv Brandenburg and with lots of help
from their board and other volunteers, improvements to the
grounds and facilities have been made for your enjoyment.
We will present the same program of events as we have now for
several years because a majority of shooters have expressed their
approval. If you are looking for a way to express your approval,
or disapproval for that matter, why not join the OSTA board? We
always need a few good men and women who want to put trapshooting in Oregon first. Interested? See you at the General
Meeting.
Finally, as you scan through the program you should make note
of the events honoring two of our biggest supporters that are no
longer with us. I doubt few would argue against the claim that
Walt Coulson and Jerry Meyer loved trapshooting and loved trapshooting in Oregon. Join me for a laugh and maybe a toast in
memory of these two friends.
Ron Johnson, President OSTA .

from the yardage shot.

lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in
the United States.
Mike Bonn’s son, Brad Bonn, was born with cystic fibrosis and
because of advancements in treatments, people like Brad are living long and productive lives.
In the 1950’s, few children with cystic fibrosis lived to Elementary school. Today, advances in research and medical treatments
have further enhanced and extended life for children and adults
with CF. Many people with the disease can now expect to live
into their 30’s and beyond.
